John Cornyn Republican Senator From Texas Demands Eric Holder's Resignation

The responce by Republicans after being stonewalled for more than a year by Eric Holder has been dismal in view of the obvious criminal involvement of the attorney general and President Obama!

Recently Senator from Texas, John Cornyn, gave an eloquent statement to justify his demand that embattled Attorney General, Eric Holder, step down for his numerous infractions that have violated his oath of office. Cornyn was one of only 4 Republican Senators to call for Holder to resign as a result of his refusal to hand over subpoenaed evidence by a Republican investigatory committee headed by Darrel Issa that has probed and demanded legal material from Eric Holder’s office for more than a year now. In short, the Republicans have been more than lenient in their requests for files to illuminate further what the truth behind the controversy is. Obviously the documents being subpoenaed are incriminating, and AG Holder has tried for the longest time to stonewall the Republican led investigation.

It’s not only the question of Fast and Furious with Holder’s Department of Justice that is disturbing and unlawful. Eric Holder has led a personal crusade against US states being able to enforce federal immigration laws. He has waged a war against Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona to obstruct the investigation into President Obama’s contested eligibility.  Eric Holder has personally decreed that the Department of Justice will not enforce the Motor Voter Act requiring all voters to produce ID in order to vote, alleging that this is a discriminatory law.

There has not been such a firestorm of controversy generated by the US Attorney General’s office since John Mitchell held the post during the Nixon administration in the midst of the Watergate scandal. Yet, Eric Holder bests John Mitchell in multiple ongoing campaigns of refusal to cooperate with probes for evidence in light of Fast and Furious, Solyndra, state’s immigration laws, and his refusal to prosecute the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation while at a public polling facility with filmed evidence. Holder even forced two DOJ veteran attorneys into resignation with his outrageous denial of law.

With only four Republican Senators demanding Eric Holder’s resignation, one must surely wonder if the whole scandal is already rigged. Mitch McConnell has already acknowledged that no one on Capitol Hill is happy with Holder’s performance as US Attorney General, but has not moved to coordinate a Senate Majority to force Holder to out of office. This is, by the very least, perplexing and an indicator of a deeper level of corruption than most Americans are willing to fathom. It would seem that if Eric Holder were to fall the next domino would be President Obama. Complicity would be much more easily proved or at least utilized to further damage Obama’s credibility in the eyes of the voters, thus making it a cinch for Romney to win and to hopefully inject the beginning of federal government reform.

Here is the opportunity needed by Obama’s opponents to gain the leverage they need to achieve the upper hand and wrestle control of the presidency away from the embattled President and his criminal attorney general. Yet, we see Republicans reticent to take action against a Democrat party that resisted all attempts to reach across the aisle when there was a Democratic majority as they conducted private sessions to pass bills regardless of Republican participation in the process. Now Republicans have an opportunity to gain the upper hand and will not take the initiative. Something is not only wrong in Washington DC but it stinks to high heaven. The corruption is so incredibly obvious that it insults our collective intelligence!
