LEADERS OF THE SO CALLED SYRIAN REVOLUTION

THREE CLOSE ENEMIES AND THREE CLOSE FRIENDS The enemy of the lamb is well too known and is not a matter for debate and discussion . The enemies of Syria are not too well known , because Syria who belongs to the almost extinct breed of Resisting countries who say no to Israel , has made more enemies than friends in the last years, who would not miss an opportunity to give a hard time to the country who made the big mistake of not falling instantly in Israel’s open arms ,relinquishing the land , the dignity and the honor of its people . Many enemies of Syria are just now uncovering their face and declaring their open enmity and hostility that had remained under cover for years . Besides Israel that is occupying Syrian territories and determined to remain in the Golan Heights, breaking thus all UN decisions and resolutions and killing lately –during Nakba and Naksa days - tens of innocent Syrians and Palestinians , the other two countries that lately showed special enmity to the Syrian people and government are the Gulf countries and Turkey. The Gulf countries rich in oil cannot but discard Syria. The revenues of oil that belong to all Arabs , are being spent on every futility and on heavy weaponry that is useless for countries not intent to fight like Gulf countries even if profitable to corrupt Saudi princes. Syria –instead- could make good use of such money that is being wasted – Not being member in the club rich of oil countries, Syria neither claims her share in the pie nor does it cater to Gulf countries tastes –turning Syrian towns and villages into resorts for Arabians to spend their leisure time like Lebanon and Egypt do, nor does Syria condescend to become the haven for Arabian wealth and money investments. Proud Syria shall remain aloof from all these practices , and even if poor, under great material pressure and deprived of essential leisure, it will remain a par to those countries , and even will surpass them as a major player on the ground without giving up on any of the essentials on which Syria is betting for its promotion and strength . A poor country that is not vassal to anyone and does not intend to become so . The other hidden foe but not unexpected , is Turkey, who has usurped previously the Syrian land of al Iskandarun, and still is . Turkey’s ambitions in Syria are well too known , not only the land , but also the water is object of Turkish ambitions and also the political role Syria is playing in being the major key to any future settlement in the middle East initiated by US or Europe . This role also Turkey wants to usurp faking an unjustified enmity to Israel , one of its closest allies , in order to be qualified to represent Arabs and replace Syria in leading any future talks with the Zionist entity within view to solve the middle eastern problem . But Syria has also friends and not only strong ones but among the strongest , it has Iran and Lebanon and Palestine , it has the Resistance that is the major player on the ground after it defeated Israel, and finally Syria , after undergoing many hardships and challenges recently, in the form of conspiracies targeting its security and stability , has chosen to resort and take shelter with the Syrians , and this is the place from which it will draw all the needed strength .
