Maggie's top aide Sir Bernard Ingham attacks 'mad' wind farms and ‘steady descent into hysteria over global warming’

  • ‘Our politicians are besotted with every form of power generation that does not work in a modern economy.’

The Government’s energy policy will cripple the economy, a leading industry veteran warned last night.

Sir Bernard Ingham, former press secretary to Margaret Thatcher, lambasted ‘mad’ wind farms, ‘delusional’ energy ministers and ‘totalitarian’ climate change zealots.

And he warned plans to build wind farms large enough to power half of the country would cost £45billion more than providing the same power through a combination of gas and nuclear.

In a speech, Sir Bernard – who worked in the Department of Energy in the Seventies and is a passionate  advocate of nuclear power – said: ‘Our politicians are besotted with every form of power generation that does not work in a modern economy.’

But we need to think of the bio fuels so they dont make the products sky rocket in price for the consumers so it has to be some biproduct of the product itself. unless we want to undermine and speculate in the food market.

I would still say bio fuels and some scientist here claim they have found a way to make fuels out of household garbage.

The taxation of life.

They're gonna try to keep this scam going as long as possible.

Here u have to pay a fee to get on the grid and some green taxes ect ect so in the end you get taxed your ass out your pants.

Where I live solar is tightly controlled and you must qualify to be considered and then you must get permits, etc. This is BS, why can't I just go down to the hardware store and buy them/install them myself? And even then they are easily damaged and can blow off in a storm. And they are vulnerable to EMP and solar flares like everything else. Wind generators kill birds, make a lot of noise, take up a lot of land, are very unsightly and may cause health problems. How many would it really take to generate enough energy?  Both need to be vastly improved.

We need next generation of solar panels, wind generators, wave turbines and bio-fuels (of crop waste) ect. And the release of Tesla inventions wouldnt hurt at all.

@Daniel, great video.

@Vincent, I agree. But wind and solar are not the way. Free energy and suppressed technologies are far better. But the PTB don't want us to have them.
