Media response to ‘Project Gunwalker’ story practically nonexistent

Holder Jr. to explain why Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents allowed suspected gun smugglers to purchase and keep assault rifles that later may have been used in the fatal shooting of a U.S. Border Patrol agent,” The Washington Times reports.
A paper with a “conservative” reputation has finally noticed. It’s one of the few media outlets that have reported on this developing story, and focuses entirely on a major story that broke on Gun Rights Examiner a full six days ago. Other “mainstream press” organizations covering this to date can be counted on one hand.
The thing that stands out: There is really no original reporting, simply a retelling of what has already been disclosed at Sipsey Street Irregulars and here. It’s not like plenty of leads and trails to follow haven’t been staked out for the curious to follow: Time after time, these original reports have been substantially corroborated as the details unfold.
