A Washington, D.C., based group is demanding Albia and Monroe County drop any connection to the privately organized and funded veterans' park and pay back any public money given in support of the monument.

What AU.ORG needs to attack is the Georgia Guidestones In Elberton Georgia,on highway 77. On those Guidestones it is written in stone to lower the worlds population to 500 million in 6 different languages. All Groups in Washington DC need to leave Welcome Home Soldier in Albia alone ..This is my home town! Stand together people of Albia! They must be pissed because Welcome Home Soldier is beautiful and is visible from Highway 34...

Come together at Albia's beautiful Welcome Home Soldier monument in a show of support for this beautiful memorial to all of our veterans, past and present.
Please know this is not a protest, but a gathering to show what this monument means to so many.
The vision is to have several hundred people gathered around the monument, holding hands in support and solidarity.
This gathering is in now way intended to infringe or dismiss anyone's beliefs on anyway shape or form.
To many times these events can carry a negative connotation, and that is not what this is about.
We hope to see as many people there as possible. Stay safe and God bless.
