My Ice Queen
With freedom flowing and snow that keeps blowing
I never could talk to you I never could talk to you
With all that anger I’d always be knowing
That I never could talk to you never could talk to you,
Late night silence no smiles in the distance
Was it that hard to laugh why the resistance?
Like a freight train rolling inside of my head
Like unwanted drama and joy that you dread,
I’m an airplane losing fuel and going down
And I still remember your judging frown
Was it ever real or just this illusion I feel
Just one hot lusty night I would gladly steal!
An ice princess with contempt on your mind
Was contentment really that hard to find?
Like an echo in a dark and empty room
No tender touch to chase away the gloom,
With freedom flowing and snow that keeps blowing
I never could talk to you I never could talk to you
With all that anger I’d always be knowing
That I never could talk to you never could talk to you,
I’m on a dark course lost somewhere at sea
Running from this loneliness deep inside of me
I’m just this foolish corpse hanging from a tree
Waiting for some magic spell that might set me free.
