Hello everyone,

I am an online student in music production.  It has always been a dream of mine to work in the music industry in some capacity, as well as do freelance projects to express my creativity.

While I knew things were not right in my country - or the world for that matter - I continued living life as if everything was fine.  I used to get my "news" from FoxNews, I voted with the Republicans, and I just assumed that while things were bad now it will eventually get better.

But various issues (too many to list here) kept nagging at me.  After hearing from I viewed as the "anti-American liberals" and annoying "conspiracy theories," I decided to debunk the various reports I heard.

And that was when I had the ultimate "paradigm shift" - A phrase that was meaningless to me until November.

I am still reeling from what I've learned and still learning.  After an emotional crisis from my epiphany, I have returned to my college degree program and continue to produce music.

I honestly do not have any idea where we are all heading.  I have always been a bit pessimistic, so I view the future with great anxiety.  But I will continue to live my life as long as I can, fear and paranoia be damned.

I am thankful for sites like this one, since I feel so alone where I live.  If anyone near me knows what is going on, he or she certainly does not let it be known.

Thank you for the kind comments and messages.  I hope we can continue to connect through the Internet, but I fear that our days of exchanging information are numbered.
