New Madrid Fault Zone - ANOTHER RFP!! (This time for fuels.)
Notice in the body of the 'synopsis' (look that word up as it has, be definition, a bearing on what's taking shape), you'll see "Vendor support is needed to provide mobile refueling in the event of a disaster to and within a 300 mile radius of mobilization areas, staging areas and other points of distribution within the states of NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TX, and LA." (Those state's gross area is also known as FEMA's ZONE 4.)

Given that New Madrid WILL affect those states (as well as other states to the north of the fault line), that "...within a 300 mile radius" part is a dead-giveaway [to me, anyway.]
So, we've ALL been put "on notice" that (1) a national EARTHQUAKE exercise (yeah, right) is coming in May, (2) massive amounts of MRE's are being ordered, and now (3) additional fuel is being ordered into the area.
I don't believe I'll be doing too much traveling in May.
