Nowhere Else it Seems

Nowhere else to go seems like I’m shoveling perpetual snow

Every day on the radio I hear the US has hit an all-time low,

Did the creator give up on us all every day I have to crawl?

They’ve even made a ghost town of shopping malls,

Whatever happened to our nation’s border?

Our own government is destroying law and order,

Can’t you see the writing on the wall no faith in God at all

There’s always that stubborn pride before the fall,

Our heroes have become far and few

Drive by shootings up and down the avenue,

No matter what your point of view the world has gone askew

Delusions are nothing new really doesn’t matter who,

Don’t ask me to solve this worldly grief

It’s all because of Satan the ultimate thief,

There’s nowhere else it seems can’t even escape in my dreams

There’s no one we can trust it seems,

All the pestilence famine and war always got to settle the score

Give them a concession and they always want more,

The invaders who come from distant shores

Invited by our own leaders cutting deals behind closed doors,

This was the land of the brave and free

The fools on Capitol Hill have stolen it from you and me.
