The Oath Keepers organization has announced its withdrawal from a pro-Constitution rally due to be held near Washington DC on April 19
following threats of violence made by participants in the march,
highlighting once again the danger posed by provocateurs who seek to
cause mayhem in order to discredit peaceful political groups.
A press release put out by Oath Keepers states that the board of directors of the organization decided to withdraw
from the “Restore the Constitution” rally in Virginia, “Because of
published statements by some participants in the upcoming Virginia
rally.”
The Washington Post claims that the reason for the pull out was because the organizers of the
event were planning to display guns and were circulating inflammatory
rhetoric, but the Oath Keepers press release contradicts this, clearly
pointing out that the organizers are not at fault and the problem was
with the behavior of some of the participants.
“Oath Keepers as an organization feels that a confrontational stance, such as has been published, places this event, in public
perception, outside the terms of our stated and published mission,”
states the press release. “The mission of Oath Keepers is not to
confront the government. Instead, our mission is to reach out to people
within government – to police, military, firefighters and
first responders – to teach them about their obligations under the oath
they took to defend the Constitution, to increase their knowledge of
the Constitution, and to inspire them to defend it by refusing to obey
unconstitutional, unlawful orders.”
Oath Keepers is asking members who attend the rally to do so as individuals and not representatives of the Oath Keepers group, adding
that Oath Keeper garments should not be displayed or worn at the event.
“Oath Keepers shall, as planned, participate in the Washington D.C. Second Amendment March on April 19 (
www.secondamendmentmarch.com) and shall offer the public an Oath Keepers ceremony in which citizens
can themselves stand and reverently take an oath to defend the
Constitution right along with current and prior service police,
military, and fire personnel (who will be renewing their oaths), all
together as patriotic Americans. Please see our banner announcement for
this march in Washington D.C. on April 19, 2010, at
www.oathkeepers.org,” concludes the press rele
With the corporate media constantly invoking a link between the Tea Parties and violence, and with anarchist groups openly revealing their
plans to pose as Tea Party members while carrying out embarrassing
stunts in an effort to discredit the movement, it seems almost
inevitable that some kind of flashpoint will be manufactured and then
exploited by the media during this week’s protests.
As we highlighted yesterday, socialist thugs are openly announcing that they will infiltrate Tea
Party ranks and then stage false flags which the media will no doubt
hastily pin on the myriad of different groups that comprise the Tea
Party movement.
Levin told the Associated Press yesterday that he had organized 65 leaders in cities across the country to
coordinate the false flags, which would include portraying people who
question Barack Obama’s birthright as crazed lunatics.
“Every time we have someone on camera saying that Barack Obama isn’t an American citizen, we want someone sitting next to him saying,
‘That’s right, he’s an alien from outer space!’” Levin said.
“Do I think every member of the tea party is a homophobe, racist or a moron? No, absolutely not,” Levin said. “Do I think most of them are
homophobes, racists or morons? Absolutely.”
However, if the Tea Parties are full of “racists, homophobes, and morons” as Levin claims, then how come armies of anarchists have to be
recruited to pose as “racists, homophobes, and morons”? This blatant
contradiction exposes Levin’s efforts for precisely what they are – a
brutal and thuggish effort to crush free speech and demonize millions
of people as racists and extremists simply because they don’t share the
same political beliefs as Levin and his gaggle of communist and
socialist punks, who are nothing more than a meek regurgitation of the
Obama youth that helped Obama win the 2008 election.
It is imperative that legitimate demonstrators who are marching across the nation this week do not allow themselves to be provoked into
violence or any kind of backlash. Your weapons are your video cameras
which you can use to document the anti-free speech behavior of
so-called anarchists as well as any violent provocateurs or undercover
cops intent on staging violence..
