We have been hearing
many controversies involving President Obama. One of the controversies involve the recent health care policy that has driven many critics to write
essays against him.
An
article from CNN has made me think of one subjective reason behind these criticisms: racism. Just because the new US president is of different color that critics have antagonistic feelings towards the president.
Former
President Clinton has made a statement on Larry King's show:
“I believe that some of the right-wing extremists which oppose President Obama are also racially prejudiced and would prefer not to have an African-American president.”
Spot on, Mister Clinton. However, he insisted that if Obama were white, there are some people who would still criticize his decisions.
There may be flaws on the policies Obama makes. He is the president. There are people who are meant to hate him just because he's president. There are pros and cons associated with each of his actions, as well as the choices he makes.
