We have been apprised  that the United Nations and to some degree, N.A.T.O is acutely aware of the danger that the “Imminent collapse of Reactor 4 could create a mass extinction event of both humans and animals” and is “in such bad shape that even a very small earthquake could quickly level the building, sending the fuel from more than 1,500 unused fuel rods into the environment. And with Reactor 4 still filled with the highest levels of radioactive MOX and other fuels, the consequences of this potential collapse could be far worse than anything that has happened thus far as a result of the earthquake and tsunami.” The United Nations, Japan, and the bulk of the industrialized world is aware of these facts which will soon be in evidence, however, in the United States, there is a Press Blackout on this issue, and even Presidential Candidates have been mum on how they expect to protect the American people and the Global Community from experiencing what could result in the extinction of humanity and the rapid destruction of civilization as we know it.

Based on the critical nature of the threat facing the entire Global Community we are requesting that this urgent matter be heard immediately by the United Nations Security Council rather than being brought-up for debate during the regular Session of the United Nations; this threat to the world at large transcends the political rhetoric and posturing normally witnessed in the United Nations regular Session(s), thus our request that it be immediately brought in front of the U.N. Security Council where it may be brought-up for debate and subsequent action rather than providing us with hollow promises that lead to nothing more than vague assurances and political chicanery as we are witnessing here in the United States.

The United States has not treated it citizens with anything that resembles the truth in this matter, and in fact, have acted as poor stewards of the public trust. Then there was more than radiation in fish destined for the United States, rather than protecting the public, our nation we well as Japan simply raised the “accepted” amount of radiation that can now be deemed “safe to eat.” Know this; it won’t be the 1% eating that seafood, and if you can read and comprehend what you’re taking in, it also won’t be you or your family. We believe there are two reasons we are experiencing a Press Blackout on this matter:

1.  The Government may be attempting to avert a panic, which on its face is an absurd rationale for implementing a Press Blackout on a threat of this magnitude. Millions of American citizens have learned of this threat by and through the Alternative News Media; countless millions of us are far more informed than our own Congress on this issue. If a panic is caused by the majority of our citizens that still remain unaware of the danger that faces humanity as a whole, it will be caused by the subterfuge of Washington, the DDS, FDA and FBI whom believe they are governing a nation of children rather than adults and disrespect us on a daily basis by spoon-feeding us propaganda and Bull$hit rather than truth and facts. We have a right to know the danger we face as a nation, and the global community has a right to know and understand the danger emanating from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Reactor Complex.

2.  We are aware that General Electric is a major financial/industrial player in nuclear reactor technology, and because of their huge holdings in News, Cable T.V., and Local Radio Stations , it is my belief that G.E. is partially responsible for this Press Blackout. When the state places a corporations financial stability and needs higher than the people it is supposed to serve, this is the essence of Fascism, a road the United States seems intent on traveling even though the entire world is witnessing this dangerous transformation. (And that includes the United Nations.) No matter how you attempt to spin this story the basic facts exist. Building # 4 is a disaster waiting to happen, and whereas I am not a politician and no not have to speak “diplomatically,” the Japanese are not exercising “due diligence” to bring this catastrophe to a suitable conclusion, and in fact, the Japanese people are also being lied to by their respective government(s) and on both sides of the world; the people who are and will be most effected by this tragedy remain in a Press Blackout which induces a state of false security and failure to act accordingly! (Natural News) There has been a lot of disinformation regarding the Fukushima Nuclear disaster. It appears the government agencies of other nations cooperated with Japan while the international nuclear industry sided with TEPCO’s (Tokyo Electric Power Company) disinformation and denial campaign.

Understanding the Millisievert

Millisievert figures are tossed out by the media with little attention to explaining them. Millisieverts (mSv) are measurements of ionizing radiation absorbed by a human body. Geiger counters formally measured with Rems (Roentgen equivalent man) or millirems. The figures on Geiger counters now represent mSv units per hour. There is always a low level of measurable background radiation in our environment from celestial bodies and earthly elements.

Whenever Geiger counters measure more, there is concern. Putting concerns into perspective, smoking a pack and a half of cigarettes (tobacco leaves absorb radioactive isotopes) daily causes an annual exposure level of 13 mSv per year. A 5,000 mSv single dose creates 50% likelihood of death within a month. A single 10,000 mSv dose of radiation causes almost certain death within a month.

Fukushima – Chernobyl Comparisons

Chernobyl was a one reactor meltdown. Fukushima had three reactors that melted down. Chernobyl was land locked in a relatively desolate area. The heaviest radiation was in the sparsely inhabited area near the plant, although air currents contaminated Northern Europe and Western Russia as well.

Fukushima is the small densely populated island of Japan. It seems there are going to be more cancer victims and food contamination with this disaster than Chernobyl’s. The Fukushima plants are on the Pacific Ocean coast.
Millions of gallons of contaminated water are being dumped into the Pacific in addition to radiation particles floating on air streams. So ocean currents are assisting air currents, exposing the world to excessive radiation.

Sea life is getting contaminated as well. The most dangerous radiation comes from radioactive particles ingested with contaminated foods. It only takes a few ingested particles to create intense health issues or death. Seems wise to avoid northern Pacific Seafood and Japanese Teas from your diet for the near future.

The easiest sign of food chain contamination comes from high radiation readings on milk. And what little data has leaked from normally scheduled testing across the United States has shown increased radioactivity in water and milk. But the USDA is not testing organic milk since that’s not part or their job description. Raw milk is another issue. There should be even more concern over Japan’s food exports, especially tea.

Before the actual extent of Japan’s crisis became evident, Chris Busby, a professor at the University of Ulster weighed in with a realistic early warning. “Fukushima is still boiling its radionuclides all over Japan,” he said. “Chernobyl went up in one go and Fukushima is worse.”

Other experts noted the futility of watering down the reactors from outside and above, which was an early attempt to cool down the reactors. The cooling has to occur inside, the way radiator coolant cools auto engines. Internal reactor cooling requires pumping water generated by electric pumps. And electricity hasn’t been available there. Many experts have questioned why the sarcophagus solution was not employed or even considered.

Sarcophagus means stone tomb in Russian. The Russians devised this solution almost immediately after Chernobyl’s meltdown. It took several months to implement. But they got it done, thus restricting more emissions in the immediate area and throughout Western Russia and Northern Europe.

Those living nearby Chernobyl were exposed to 450 mSv over several days. This level of exposure is sufficient to cause cancer for many within their lifetimes. Nevertheless, nearby residents were evacuated as soon as possible.
It seems Fukushima evacuation planners dragged their feet with a smaller area of no return than Chernobyl’s restricted area. What kind of measurements were occurring in Fukushima by the time the Japanese government and TEPCO finally admitted that their situation was worse than originally reported?

That’s difficult to answer because of the denial and disinformation during the early stages of this disaster. But it’s apparent that the zone of intense radiation involves more inhabitants in Japan than Chernobyl ever did. A nearby Japanese university has tested soil samples in the area and discovered the radioactive contamination is deeper and higher than originally anticipated.

Unanticipated higher readings done by third party groups imply earlier industry and government cover ups that downgraded or withheld readings.
It was months after the initial event that the Japanese government and TEPCO raised the Fukushima danger level to seven, matching Chernobyl’s disaster level.

One thing is for certain. The Fukushima radioactive leaks will continue at high amounts longer than Chernobyl did. Fukushima’s radioactive fallout will be affecting more people, crops, and of course sea life than Chernobyl’s disaster caused. But just like the Gulf BP oil disaster, we won’t be able to count on accurate mainstream media information or government intervention to minimize the damage. The current TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) plan calls for the nuclear fuel rods of the severely damaged ‘Daiichi’ nuclear power plant fuel-pool #4 to NOT begin removal until possibly 2014. That’s right, 2 more years before they might start the 10-year process of removing fuel rods there according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Tepco says it’s working to remove the fuel rods as fast as it can. If all goes according to its timetable, the utility could start taking the rods out in 2014.

…the schedule allows up to ten years to get all the spent fuel in all the Fukushima reactor pools out.

Fukushima Daiichi suffered meltdowns at three of its reactors last year after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami knocked out power in the area. Much of the nuclear fuel in those three reactors is thought to be in a melted lump at the bottom of the vessels that surround the core.

Another big earthquake or tsunami could send Fukushima Daiichi’s fragile reactor buildings tumbling down, resulting in “an even greater release of radiation than the initial accident,”

The fuel pools are 100 feet above the ground, entirely open to the atmosphere (except for the water constantly being pumped into them) because the nuclear reactor buildings were blown apart by explosions back during 2011. The fuel pool (#4) which holds more than 10,000 nuclear rods could collapse from structural damage, should another strong earthquake occur there, and scatter the rods all over the ground. Emergency worker access to these rods will be impossible (except for suicide missions) as they will be emitting lethal levels of gamma radiation. The fuel rods will quickly heat up and ignite/explode, releasing massive clouds of radiation into the atmosphere.

Quote from a story on April-2, 2012 from the Mainichi Daily News in Japan written by Takao Yamada, Expert Senior Writer, “If the storage pool breaks and runs dry, the nuclear fuel inside will overheat and explode, causing a massive amount of radioactive substances to spread over a wide area. The only thing saving the planet from exposure to 85x Chernobyl is the few feet of water covering the rods at this very moment. There is no other containment. Period. In fact, the fuel pool apparently is, and has been, leaking. A constant re-supply of water is required to avert total disaster.

Okay, should this event occur (earthquake followed by collapse of fuel-pool #4), how would it affect us here in the U.S. and other countries outside of Japan? What, if anything, can we do to be prepared for such an event?

As the radiation began to spew into the atmosphere, the surface and upper winds would carry the ongoing invisible cloud with it. If it were carried along in the jet-stream, which spins around the globe at say, 100 mph (and higher), it would take about 10 days to circle and cover the globe, predominantly in the northern hemisphere. That said, a few days or even 10 days is not enough time to make any practical preparations for this type of disaster.

In fact, one wonders if there is anything at all that we can do to make a difference such that we could protect ourselves beyond just a short period of time. Let’s face it, if this were to happen, the effects would be long lasting, long term, wide reaching, and almost unimaginable.

What will happen?

In my own estimation, there would not be instant death. There would be immediate tragedy in Japan, as millions of people scramble to evacuate the regions there (imagine evacuating Tokyo?). What would happen is that we would slowly but surely become more and more contaminated with radiation as we potentially breath in particles, get doused with particles (from the rain), and most importantly… we consume them from the foods that we eat (which will have become contaminated) and the water we drink. The cancer rate will skyrocket, and the die-off will begin.

What can or could we do?

The most extreme precaution (meaning – life uprooting) would be to move to the southern hemisphere. The further south the better, as some of the radiation will eventually migrate to the equator regions and spill below.

For the U.S., the radiation ‘fallout’ will be the worst on the west coast, and possibly parts of Alaska, as this is the first landfall of the predominant jet-stream winds from Japan. Rains will scour out some of the radiation from the air and toxify the west and central U.S. a bit more than the East. Unfortunately this is where lots of food is grown. The top several inches of soil will become contaminated. For long term issues, the food supply will be the deadliest aspect of this disaster.

I suppose that food grown in the southern hemisphere and shipped north, will be less contaminated. Those foods would certainly demand a premium and become VERY expensive.

A limited amount of food safety may come from growing food ‘inside’, out of the elements, out of the contaminated air and rain, in greenhouses, in non-contaminated soil. A problem though will be feeding the plants (and yourself!) with non-contaminated water (where will it come from or how to filter it).

As far as I know, one ‘partially’ effective way to separate radioactive particles from water is through water distillation (However some distillers will not rid radioactive iodine). I found this apparent factoid… “One of the problems with distilling is that iodine has a low boiling point – it turns into a gas at 363-degrees F (184 C). The little home distillers use high pressure for efficiency and if they are using over ~140 psi they will be vaporizing the radioactive iodine along with the water. A low pressure distiller like the type used for distilling alcohol won’t boil off the iodine.”

Boiling water will NOT remove radiation (or any other chemicals), but instead will concentrate it. The evaporated steam will also contain ‘some’ radiation. I’ve also heard that a Reverse Osmosis water filter may be effective to remove ‘most’ of the radiation particles. Water from a natural spring, which itself draws water from deep below the ground, may be a good source of safer water than contaminated surface water.

Regarding finding non-contaminated foods, the most assured way is to have it stocked up ahead of time, before the nuclear disaster, in your long term food storage supplies. This of course will only last until you run out, and then you’re in the same radiated boat as the rest of the people.

There will be new food processes popping up that will claim to produce non-contaminated foods, as many will attempt to profit from the disaster. Some may be real while I’ll bet many others will be false claims. The problem is that most of these sources will likely only produce relatively small volumes of food while the majority of the population depend upon mass produced foods. Food will continue to be grown and produced as before because there will be no other choice. People who consume it will simply and horrifically become more and more contaminated themselves over time. The radiation particles accumulating in their bodies will eventually damage surrounding tissue and/or DNA, leading to cancer and premature death. It is a scary thing, for sure.

The only immediate and somewhat effective solution that I see, is to grow your own food, in a greenhouse environment with soil that has been scraped from a depth of at least 4 inches below the topsoil, and fed with water from a natural spring. Obviously, a sufficient amount of food would need to be grown, and a sufficient amount would need to be preserved for the non-growing season. It would be very difficult, at best, to successfully accomplish this unless you are a seasoned gardener with the right knowledge, tools, and resources to do it.

Surviving a Fukushima fuel pool collapse will involve arming yourself with the knowledge, skill, and resources to grow your own food as described, to procure your own water which is safe to drink, and to stay out of the elements when it is storming. The hardest part of all this is to actually have the land to accomplish this, as the majority of the population lives in suburbia or the city. If you believe strongly that the risk is of high potential, then your only course of action, is to take action now, before it is too late.

We, the majority of the people who occupy this planet are being kept in the dark as to the terrible danger than we, our children, and humanity in general now face because the Elites/Corporations in this world would rather cover-up their “indiscretions” and pay their toll on death because it is still less of a financial burden to pay for the mistakes they are caught at instead of adopting new standards that would save millions of lives but are too expensive for them to implement. As a human being, as a parent, and as a steward of Mother Earth, as of this minute their can be no more important task than demanding that the United Nations Security Council step-in immediately and begin the clean-up in Japan and work to secure the damaged reactor building(s) so that humanity has a chance to survive this disaster which is threatening everyone that lives on this planet. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is not a joke. If Japan or even the Cascadia Subduction Zone should experience a major geological event, life here on Earth could and likely would change dramatically. If you ever needed to become involved in attempting to secure your own future and that of your family, it is not time to make phone calls to your Senators, call the MSM even as worthless as they are and demand that they begin to act like Journalists and cover this story to our satisfaction, not that of the government or their corporate Masters. Anyone with a brain can see that we need to bring-in the equipment to build at least a forty-five (45′) wall in front of the reactors with eyelets on the retraining wall that the damaged structure(s) can be hooked to and act as the stability we need until the new fuel rods, depleted fuel rods, and other fuel assemblies can safely be moved from the damaged  Fukushima Daiichi nuclear reactor facility. The wall needs to be at least thirty (30) feet thick and should be built to withstand an 8.0 or above Magnitude Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami. Elderly people who are still in the prime of their lives will volunteer to ensure the safety of their own families from this potential nuclear holocaust and it’s time to begin speaking about it like adults, not in closed door sessions that only serve to accomplish the wishes of the monied and corporations. We know that people have to die to fix the folly of those who dared to challenge Mother Nature and lost, and we are well aware that it has to happen soon. The retaining wall I’m speaking of could be built in a matter of months, and even during it’s earliest construction start, if built correctly, will help to strengthen the damaged reactor buildings that now threaten our way of life. As the wall grows in girth and height, so will the reactor buildings also stand with them and share the strength of new constructi0n that will serve as dual-purpose rather than tasking each and every segment of the construction to serve only one purpose. Pouring and constructing such a wall is not impossible, and building it so that it also fortifies the damaged reactors is not that hard of a feat to accomplish either.

I just checked several major news services and it appears that the United States is still under a complete Press Blackout on Japan’s Nuclear issue(s), and “we the people” are only receiving information that our government believes we can handle without rioting, demanding that our government and the United Nations and other such alphabet agencies do their damn jobs, and manifesting the outrage and the general hysteria that mother’s all across this nation will exhibit whenever they are exposed to the truth. Sorry folks, it’s time to take action; listed below are some of the numbers for the White House and I will be posting more:
