Yes James, the losing candidate seems to be connected to CIA and US government support. As you know we have a brutal history of interfering in Democratic elections but involving ourselves in Iranian elections is a bit more difficult than just murdering Joseph Arbenz or Trujillo, as we did years ago in South and Central America. We are though quite good at destabilization from afar using US funds which are coveted everywhere.
I seem to remember reading something about him also being involved in something a but more mysterious than Iran Contra but my memory is failing me at the moment. Maybe you have something on it. I have your posts on my RSS feed and I'll check a bit later.
