As I posted a few weeks ago, an important date to be mindful of is 9/27/11.  In hindsight, it seems that there was more 'intuited forewarning' in that post than I was aware of at the time.

Major governments around the world have cancelled parlimentary and/or normal governmental activities between [on average] September 23 through the second week in October. Even our own Congress and Senate are taking 'an extended recess' until mid-October.  NASA is coincidentally holding a 'supposed convention' [highlighting their long years of accomplishments] in Denver.  A MASSIVE 81-local agencies anti-terror drill (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) - called MOUNTAIN GUARDIAN - was held on 9/23 in Denver and....[worldwide] governmental orders for massive amounts of food for storage are [temporarily] winding down during this time.  Factor in that B.O. is in Denver on the 9/27 and we have the makings for "something that just doesn't smell right."

Comet Elenin will be aligning with the Sun and Mercury on 9/27 and the historical records will pinpoint that large earthquakes traditionally occur when such [an] alignment(s) takes place.

So....the prudent thing to do this weekend would be to double-check your survival cache and head for the ATM to get cash out. (Also, go to your bank early Monday morning and remove the larger portions of your cash that you couldn't get from the ATM.)  Fill up your vehicle(s) with fuel and go over emergency preparedness tactics and routes with friends and family.

DO NOT THINK FOR A MINUTE THAT YOU ARE BEING SILLY OR OVER-REACTIONARY.  EVERY TIME THERE HAS BEEN A MAJOR DRILL [SOMEWHERE ON THE PLANET] INVARIABLY SOMETHING BAD SOON FOLLOWED.
