The year is 1953. Often called "The Forgotten War" the Korean conflict is about to be declared an armistice. This year will begin a mercurial development of super sonic fighters and bomber development, but it also mean the end of an important US Air Force project that has been gaining credibility. The Robertson Panel will convene as a gathering of prestigious scientific minds evaluate the UFO problem and whether or not Project Blue Book should continue on its course of gaining more funding and more military's support.
Hopeful support
The CIA had set up a meeting that will decide the fate of the controversial project once an evaluation of the evidence on file justifies the expense and has obtained substantial enough results. Captain Edward Ruppelt has headed Project Blue Book as its director for 3 years and has worked hard using a professional approach, computerized evaluation material, and has traveled to or sent his staff officers all over the United States investigating UFO reports from police, military pilots, or just average civilians who were paying attention the sky at the time that a UAP made its ubiquitous appearance.
Unrealized potential
A general commanding an aerial reconnaissance regiment is ready to throw his support to the Project Blue depending on the outcome of the hearings. He has also promised to get more funding from Congress to expand Blue Book's capabilities. Major Dewey Fornet and Professor J. Allen Hynek are also on hand as staff members aiding Captain Ruppelt in the evaluation of UFO sightings. Best evidence will be crucial to convincing a cadre of skeptical scientists who have been gathered to pronounce judgment over the project.
Intentional shut down
After 2 days of weighing the evidence, showing of the impressive footage of the Tremonton Film, a formation of UAP's captured by Naval Photographer Delbert Newhouse in Utah, and the Great Falls film taken by a local baseball team owner from a stadium of 2 glowing aerial objects flying over Montana, a startling ruling is handed down! The panel does not consider the UFO mystery worthy of more serious evaluation or for further increased staff or resources. Project Blue Book will be relegated to no more than a public relations campaign unconcerned over serious study. Any problematic cases will be sent to Wright Patterson AFB for classified study. Project Blue Book has now been rendered into a paper tiger. Major Fornet, Captain Ruppelt, and their investigating officers all put in for transfers to other units in frustration over the actions of the Robertson Panel. Doctor J. Allen Hynek remains on staff as the only scientific advisor.
Still in operation
Years later, according to USMC Major retired, Donald Keyhoe reports that the US Air force is still conducting UFO investigations under "Old Blue Paper" and other clandestine operations that also serve as rocket and space debris recovery agencies, but Project Blue Book is nothing more than a campaign of denial and repudiation. As opposed to the findings of Frank Feschino's Book "Shoot Them Down" an account of the supposed undeclared air war that existed from 1952 and on where many pilots lost their lives and their aircraft in hostile encounters with UFO's it seems the public's interest has settled down considerably since the 1952 UFO flap. It seems the US government has proclaimed a new forecast of "all is calm" and the masses have accepted it.
Yet, as the years roll on frightening encounters with UFO's persist despite the refusal of the US Air Force to acknowledge that it is still evaluating major UAP sightings. Places like Amarillo, Houston, Stephenville, Pascagoula, Gulf Breeze, Groom Lake in Nevada, and rural New Hampshire where Barney and Betty Hill report being abducted the nagging the reality is that UFO's will not go away quietly into the night. Originally, the rationale of the USAF and Department of Defense was that UFO's presented a potentially dangerous distraction by the public that could be used by the Soviets to create confusion in the case of a first strike nuclear confrontation so the phenomenon had to be debunked for the sake of national security.
However, in the year of 2007 shortly after a rash of sightings over Stephenville, Texas a new directive is handed down by the federal government even with President Clinton signing an official refusal to acknowledge Area 51 as an official government installation back in 1995. The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program is established which now prioritizes unknown aerial sightings as national security considerations. Why? After decades of denial, why would the government now make a public acknowledgment of UAP's as not only real, but as possible menaces to our nation?
Forked tongue of government
Can we really trust anything now coming from the mouths of our government officials? According to the FBI and President Biden, ANTIFA is only a state of mind and not a dangerous organization that should be rounded up after months of violent rioting in cities like Portland and Seattle. We are told by our news outlets like CNN that some protests are good and that demonstrations need not be peaceful especially when BLM parades down the streets calling for the killing of our policemen. Representative, Nadler tells us that God is not a concern of our Congress even though our founding fathers used the Bible, the Ten Commandments, and Christian doctrine as guideposts for the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution. It seems Godlessness is the new priority of our federal government.
The new aggressive movement
So, if our Godless federal government were to acknowledge the existence of an extraterrestrial threat would this not further delegitimize God as a force in politics and state? With the growing animosity of the left and the Democrats to Christians, conservatives, and constitutionalists it would seem to be more of the continuing pattern of official sanction of an anti-God, anti-Christian influence that will further encourage hostile indifference to morality and ethics. This will further bolster laws that make church attendance punishable by restriction. Just as with the Covid-19 scare tactics as government decided to break many of our Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly and worship through some planned modern plague, we can see the sudden serious threat assessment of UFO's as just another step in that direction. We keep telling ourselves that the lessons of history somehow don't apply until it's too late!

Twilight Zone AGREED!
The Government and NGOs see themselves as gods and don't want competition from the Creator. They already have people believing that their vaccines are superior to the Creators given immune system, that Bill Gates plan to alter the atmosphere is superior, that changing our genes is the best path, that killing fetuses is a moment to be celebrated, that it's "stunning and brave" to declare that the Creator made a mistake in the sex which you were born,...I could go on and on. It is not hard to imagine that they would us an alien invasion and that the general population would believe the story. People have free will and can choose their path and they are being separated by their choice.
