In 1997 Philip J. Corso’s book, “The Day After Roswell” gained notoriety for revealing the massive extent that the US intelligence apparatus was capable of conducting secret operations that the American public would be completely unaware of so that an event like the Roswell crash could just as easily have been covered up!  Corso, a former WWII Captain of US Army intelligence knew how these programs could take place undetectably. Just as the program of back engineering recovered wreckage of a crashed disk in 1947 could be ceded to US defense contractors under the category of foreign technology and be back engineered.

For example, we know how much secretive development of X-planes, unconventional crafts, and possibly alien origin technology is being tested, yet how much has successfully been uncovered in the 50 years of operation that Area 51, S-4, or Area 2 have been involved in? Little if any. Without Bob Lazar’s testimony, we would know practically nothing! The government even managed to wipe clean all his personal, educational, bio information leaving Bob just one check stub paid by the US Navy for his contracting services.

So, what massive domestic surveillance project went into effect that the general public knew nothing about, the news agencies were oblivious to, and even most members of the US armed forces have been effectively compartmentalized from? The answer: Operation Shamrock created in 1947 post war America to conduct secret surveillance on all incoming and outgoing telegraph communications! Under the authority of the newly created NSA as part of the 1947 NDAA legislation and the rise of the surveillance state many attribute to the Roswell crash, Operation Shamrock emerged and went undetected until 1975 when the Church Committee convened and revealed the existence of this secret project! Now, think about how easily the Roswell crash and recovery could have occurred without official disclosure, even after Colonel Butch Blanchard had his news officer Lieutenant Walter Haut to announce that the 509^th Bomb Group at Roswell Airfield had captured a flying disk!

Many have argued that how could such a fantastic discovery have been kept under wraps when the US military industrial complex has a history of maintaining secrecy from the public and even its own personnel such as the Manhattan Project! Even the Kennedy assassination is still to this day unresolved! Even New Mexico Representative, Steven Schiff, observed that there were documents of day to day operations at Roswell Army Airfield conspicuously destroyed rather than archived considering the importance of a recovered crashed disk back in 1947! When General Nathan F. Twining made a trip to Roswell after the crash recovery, he did two things 1) He sent an intelligence estimate to the Joint Chiefs of Staff stating that flying causers were real, not hallucinatory, were capable of incredible maneuvers, and could out fly our best interceptors of the time 2) He designated the recovered “Artifacts” as he called them as captured foreign technology to be stored right under the noses of such agencies such as the NSA, CIA, FBI, Naval Intelligence, and others who would have loved to get their hands on the exotic materials.

It would not be until 1960, according to Science Officer Staff to the Eisenhower Administration, that Philip J. Corso and his boss, General Trudeau would begin the task of discretely ceding these technical materials to our defense contractors to back engineer! As a result, such advancements as digital circuits, fiber optic cable, pilot to aircraft ergonomic controls, and even the massively researched electromagnetic propulsion observed by Bob Lazar at Area 51 years later. Secrets too massive to keep from the public’s eye? Balderdash!
