Red Beach

I should have known but I was a fool

Trusting a corrupt government that only wanted to rule

Loving you when you only wanted to treat me like a fool

Life has become a deadly duel,

Every day is a stunt on a ladder

As the news grows more fake and madder

As our hopes and dreams they try to shatter

Just throw another grenade at the next up batter,

You come into the world naked and innocent

But you’re under siege without your consent

Hoping that God is omnipresent

But more and more you’re treated like a peasant,

Dreams seem the only way out of a waking state

Where the innocent they will incriminate

While the food you buy they contaminate

Making you wonder if salvation is too late,

Like landing on Red Beach for an amphibious assault

You keep asking questions but no one’s at fault

When will they start hurling bombs of cobalt?

This evil must come to a halt!

As a man in the midst of this insanity

A sampling of all the bizarre calamity

Another story about an atmospheric anomaly

To insult my intelligence so blatantly,

Now the tide is coming in

Along with the products of chaos and sin

Where did the insanity all begin?

There is no rational explanation.
