Although this is quite terrible it seems almost tame to police brutality in the united states. As much as i want to say they're knocking some sense into them, jeez. They weren't even doing anything wrong, they were accepting the lie. Even the sheep get beat.

Not suprising one bit, Jeff. and,yes a sucess indeed. What i have gathered from those that I correspond with, is that , Interestingly enough, the Hells Angels have infiltrated "Pusher Street" and are up to their usual business of Controlling the drug trade.Another American-born kick in the face to my brothers in 'Wonderland'.

Interestingly enough, and because of who I am, I am not only very, very familiar with Christiania and have even corresponded with people living there via the internet. I watched and read about the drug busts as they unfolded. This Social Experiment, regardless of what may have transpired, in my opinion was a great success. Precisely the reason it was attacked by the mainstream. My understanding is that the Cannabis trade is still active. The community has changed several times over the years but the idea, never-the-less, is a grand one.

Enlightening, Jeff. I hope the apethetic American public can see enough of themselves and the feelings they share inside their hearts and minds to have empathy for these protesters. Whatever their nationality, or which side of the suprimposed line of scrimmage they chose to stand on. Even to cops the world over , this should be an embarsassment.To a Danish citizen this would be embarassing, too. This is the Image that is going out to the rest of the world of what their peaceful, beautiful and friendly country is like. I have a large part of my heart in Copenhagen , and Christiania , Denmark. In 2002 & 2003 I spent the entire month of June working in Copenhagen. There was a drastic change in the way that place operated between my two visits.The soverign township of Christiania was started as a social experiment that manifested from the "hippie" movement of the 1960's.They were granted an adjacent chunk of land to build a functioning self-sufficient community, unincorporated from any Governmental support or rule. A free city,an anarchistic utopia.They did have rules , but much like this social network , you would only face bannishment from the shops ,restaurants and cafes within the walls of the village. Jeff ,from what i've gathered from your character,you would agree with me that heaven on earth existed. Well that was up til 2002 . By the time I returned in 2003, Through grants recieved from the Bush administration, Kobenhaven had Doubled the size of its police force.They had conducted unjust raids through the village, to seize the Hashish and cannibis sales that, accordin' ta ol' Dubya, supported the "Axis of Evil"...my heart was broken as my friends were telling me of the Tyranny, that was installed by MY "freedom loving", "democratic", government ambassadors. Their police state represented each and every American citizen regardless of any label you choose as your Identity. Right , left, black, white, would all be embarrased, and if you were too pompus to feel empathy , you woud not be welcomed anyway.

And the reason they all speak English so well, is thanks to American sitcoms and Empty-Vee(MTV)...The danish broadcasters never wasted their time overdubbing American shows. Subtitles in Danish was all they got. And up til the United States of Embarassment Pissed on Denmark like a dog marking its territory, The Television's deceptive portrait of America was what they had. I think I'm gonna go grab a six-pack of ice cold Tuborg , and drown out these sickening emotions i'm feeling right now. Great post , once again , El Jefe. - SKOL!!!
