The idea that there were two different locations comes from Jim Stones article about the San Bernardino Terror incident. A reader pointed out that there are two different shootout pictures, and that they really don't work as both of them being true at the same time. The first picture below I call the White Picket fence picture and you can see the fence at the left. The next picture I call the Richardson St picture. The third picture is from Google Maps and you can see the address is 1820 East San Bernardino Ave, San Bernardino. The forth picture is an overhead map shot showing the approximate location of the white picket fence (marked with a bullet) and Richardson St. The fifth picture is from the bullet location (the white picket fence) looking towards Richardson St.
What you should notice right off is that picture one and picture two are in two obviously different locations. The street can clearly be seen in both pictures and the street lines don't match up at all. Both pictures show evidence markers on the road, so they would have to be post shootout. You couldn't say that the shooting started there and then moved to the other location. From the arial view it looks to be about a block and a half from the white picket fence to the Richardson St. intersection. The final picture shows that it couldn't just be a matter of photo angle. The distance is just too far from 1820 East to the intersection. From 1820 East, you can't see the Richardson St sign.
The Richardson picture was found on Yahoo and they credited it as coming from Good Morning America There's good youtube video from grindall61 title: Crazy Footage: Shot Up Vehicle, Blood In The Street In San Bernardino California. Near the beginning it shows the Richardson Intersection and then goes down the street to the 1820 East location. That video helped me to figure out the picket fence location and will help to show just how far apart the two locations are.
