I think it's going to prove to be a great way to save lives especially if enough people learn about it and it's far, far simpler then CPR.

It has been thought for a while that the assisted breathing part of CPR (for victims with no pulse) is while not ineffective is inefficient and takes time away from keeping circulation up. Also the victim usually pukes when you blow into their mouths and air gets into the stomach. That and all the scare about catching diseases can inhibit a person from taking action when it would be very rare that someone would contact AIDS or some other horrid disease from administering CPR.
