29 Chinese people held as prisoners by the rebels in Sudan after battles with government forces

A growing crisis between Sudan and South Sudan pose a serious threat to peace and security in the region, says UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who participates in an African summit in Ethiopia.

- Situation in Sudan and South Sudan has reached a critical point where the conflict poses a serious threat to peace and security. The international community must act now, says Ban Ki-moon, referring to the unresolved conflict over oil pipelines and borders.

The warning comes from the UN, while rebels in Sudan has taken 29 Chinese prisoner after fighting with government forces.

China has confirmed that a group of its citizens who build roads in the country, is missing. Rebel movement SPLM-N says that the Chinese can not be released due to security situation.

After decades of civil war, South Sudan independent on 5 July under considerable international attention. Rising violence in South Sudan border region can lead to food shortages, says America's UN ambassador, Susan Rice.

Ban Ki-moon says he fears a war, and therefore discusses the development of so many African leaders as possible. He accused both the Sudanese president, Omar al-Bashir and Southern Sudan President Salva Kiir, the "lack of political will."

UN Secretary-oriented, however, a particularly urgent appeal to Bashir alone:

- I urge him to cooperate fully with the UN.

About two million people were killed during the civil war in Sudan from 1983 to 2005, when rebels in the south fighting Bashir regime in Khartoum. Nearly 99 percent of the population in the south voted for the independence of South Sudan last year.

Although Sudan has by far the largest oil resources, then the new nation will not have access to ports and all oil pipelines and export facilities controlled by the Sudan who are accused of stealing oil worth billions of dollars.

Yea that too, international forces! Then steal oil, metals and other ressources. Then get all the rebuilding contracts (you know the bottomless pit). Then make some bases where they can bring other africans they have kidnapped to torture. Then start up some child prostitution rings and make bundles of selling of their organs when theyre too used up. Then theres a good climate for weed so we'll see a lot of smugling into the EU. Ect ect.
