A policewoman has been charged with assaulting a man during a domestic dispute in Sydney's south west.
Police say a 31-year-old female constable, attached to South West Metropolitan Region, assaulted a 26-year-old man during the disturbance at a home about 7.30pm (AEST) on Friday.
"As a result, the man suffered cuts and bruising to his face," a NSW police statement said.
Camden police arrested the policewoman about 2.30am (AEST) on Saturday.
She was taken to Camden Police Station, interviewed and charged with assault.
She is due to appear at Camden Local Court on Thursday, July 16.
