Dear Fellow Tea Party Patriots,

Hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!



Tea Party Patriots Local Coordinators have been working on our next action items for how to approach the government takeover of health care in the Senate. You will see some of the things we are doing below. Others you will see in coming weeks.

This week if you are available to drive to DC on Tuesday, December 1 or Wednesday, December 2, we encourage you to do so and join Tea Party Patriots. On Tuesday, Tea Party Patriots will be assisting Albany, NY 912ers and Vermont Tea Party Patriots as they go to DC to talk to Senators' staff.

On Wednesday, December 2, Tea Party Patriots will be making a special delivery. Later that evening, we will go to see the premiere of The Tea Party Documentary. If you are able to attend on either of these days, please fill out this form to RSVP and Diana Reimer or Jenny Beth Martin will be in touch with you.

We are only asking for volunteers within a reasonable driving time of DC to come to DC this week. If you cannot be in DC, watch your inbox for details on what is happening, who to call, etc. that you can do from home.

It is imperative that we grow our membership in the coming weeks to continue to build momentum, communicate with like-minded Americans, and increase our effectiveness. On Thursday, December 3, we are asking Tea Party Patriots from around the country to reach out to 1 new person who is not a member of Tea Party Patriots. Tell them why you are a member of the tea party movement and ask them if they agree with our core principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets. If they do, ask them to join our website and your local Tea Party Patriots' website as well. If you send emails, follow up with phone calls to the people to add a personal touch.

If you live in the Southeast, mark your calendars now for activities on: Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12. After this week's Local Coordinator and Leadership Council Conference Call, we will have more details on what we are planning for this weekend. Also, it looks like we are going to ask people from around the country to go back to DC on December 15th. We will have more details after the Leadership Conference Call and also after National Coordinators meet with a few other like-minded organizations this week. Do not make reservations yet, but do pencil it in on your calendars. We will have more details on these dates in the next day or two.
