Dreaming the dreamless dream each night
Wishing to wash this busy mind away from sight
My lover vanished in the depth of the night
Why do my thoughts drift like this, it doesn’t seem right,

Grasping for a means to ascension
How can I get my Savior’s attention?
This strange world that awaits
That beckons me to participate
Warping time and confusing dates
Is this what the ultimate dream weaver creates?
It all seems an endless Kennard
Perhaps I’ve tried too hard
Playing these mystical poker cards
As I navigate a battlefield of the mentally scarred,
God help me 20 years of failing to move ahead
The pain of betrayal still in my head
Romance seems an illusion now dead
What should I have done instead?
