The Song " Ice " with a fiery Randy California guitar solo

Spirit before their demise much like Pink Floyd, got into doing some sound track instrumentals for film. One particularly impressive instrumental featuring a Randy California guitar solo is the song entitled “Ice”. Jay Ferguson pianist, vocalist, co-writer and founding member also left Spirit and found success with a band he started “Jo Jo Gun” which had a couple of chart topping hits. He too got into the soundtrack music to accompany movies and TV programs. In one solo album he sings a very touching birthday tune to his wife, and you can hear the emotion and tearful sensitivity he performs it with. From the album "Clear".
