I remember how the royals really were annoyed by Churchill and considered him to be a bulldog. Well when they grudgingly gave power of the war effort to Churchill he beat back the Nazis during the Battle of Britain in 1940 where the Nazis outnumbered the Royal Air Force by at least 4 to 1. I they'd had their way they would have stuck with pussy Chamberlain.
