Humans are bad enough already. We all live in our little personalized bubbles of concerns, ambitions, preoccupations, and fantasies! Now add to that electronic deprivation! The cell phone, that video game you can’t live without, constantly texting or staying in touch with friends using idol and shallow conversations that don’t amount to a hill of beans. War isn’t real if you’re not in it. Poverty is of no concern if you’re not starving, besides, this was the job of the previous “Greatest Generation’” to do all the suffering and weight lifting to bring your ungrateful ass to this point in time! I’m speaking to the Millennials, GenZ, and now the latest, Generation Alpha, who are conveniently cocooned into their meaningless existence!

This future mass population of shallow, unconcerned, and self-centered onlookers of reality have been denied the perspectives of history presented as it really happened, they’ve been insulated from the wisdom of great minds, and they will learn of nothing of how history repeating the atrocities of the past as public schools have been relegated to indoctrination centers rather than facilities dedicated to objective learning. Where the opinions of anti-western educators who pontificate their anti-capitalist rhetoric fresh from the lips of Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, and Karl Marx, who by the way, were all well off and pampered under the blanket of free enterprise being the hypocrites they were.. As a matter of fact, Fidel Castro dragged his nation into filth and poverty in the name of Communism as he destroyed a financially well-established economic country that had casinos, hotels, theaters, and education, but socialists just can’t have an informed middle class, well educated, and having a future that does not depend on government control. Fidel advertised himself as a rebel from the mountains, a liberator, when, in truth, he was from a wealhty plantation owning familly! Nor, can they believe in an all-powerful and just God either! As the collective state cannot tolerate any higher authority than itself!

So, who is God today to the younger, dehumanized adults who spend their days focused on their cell phones, their video games, or their virtual reality head gear that encapsulates their senses in a fantasy 3-D environment! God has become all that is a distraction, a pointless waste of time, an investment in nothing more than the moment. If you listen to the conversations that lack substance, meaningful context, or a constructive appraisal of what goes on in the world, you could be amazed or more likely be appalled! And to think, that those who sacrificed nothing, invented nothing, had everything handed to them on the silver platter of other’s accomplishments grope through the darkness of cluelessness! There are so much more efficient ways of avoiding responsibility and critical thinking as social platforms, obsessive compulsive chat, and selflessness have replaced genuine concern over existential problems that can always be ignored or their minds can be shielded by the very lack of common sense that’s been bestowed upon them!

So, what does this all boil down to? What are the ramifications? How does one escape being eclipsed by the insanity of fascism, of Marxism, of Islamist savagery, when they are so distracted by meaningless preoccupation that they don’t even care to consider the growing threats to their little dehumanized existence? An existence they never had to work for, that they never had to sacrifice for, that they had no skin in the game for because it all came so easily, so readily, and the world outside is simply irrelevant, just like history! For centuries great empires were conquered when there was no longer any allegiance to the flag, no respect or appreciation for the republic, no acknowledgement for the sacrifice of those who paid with their lives so that the society could survive. This is where foreign propaganda, no matter how senseless becomes truth to minds who have lost or never gained critical thinking so that the corn thrown into the trap brings in the swine who are rife to be fooled and captured once the gates have slammed shut on them!
