Just another day under the illusion of paradise

Neither miraculous or concise

Against fate every day we roll the dice

Women are psychotic and men are mice,

Take a walk in the maze of false beliefs

From the lies we can get no relief

The deceptions will never cease

The world exists in an uneasy peace,

The waters of repeated narratives seem still

Haven’t you had your fill?

All for the false promises of thrills

Staring out over the ledge you get the chills,

There’s a hole in the truth where the fake news goes

All the clowns in front of the cameras pose

The propaganda they lay underneath your nose

It’s all wrong and you feel it from your head down to your toes,

What’s really going on in the world and you wonder

Is it a smart bomb or just thunder?

This is the fantasy we labor under

The fools that would lay society asunder,

I’m just an individual in the ant colony

A drop in a tear filled sea

Not really sure just who is the enemy

But I would sure like to be free.
