I’m getting nowhere

Yet the world keeps spinning around

I’m getting nowhere

While the threat of war abounds,

The last shred of evidence I could have found

But, I’m far from the love that kept me from falling down

Gravitating to those vibrating sounds

Someone said yesterday, “it’s war unleash the hounds!”

Jenny lost her foothold and they only found her gown

It’s a very dark place for that it’s become renown

They say there’s a hole a mile deep in that mound

Trying to find those missing persons can confound,

I ran into a porthole where everything goes black

Deep in a hole on the other side where I found Jack

Scared out of his mind from the bizarre attack

Not too many heroes when you know you’re not coming back,

I’m getting nowhere

Made the mistake of trespassing in his lair,
