Finally I broke down and answered the phone....the conversation (loudly) went something like this:
"Chase Card Services?"
"Yes?"
"Be advised I am physically at work in cubefarm America. Everyone in a three cube radius can hear my end of the conversation..... You guys have been calling me three times a day, every day for THREE WEEKS. What do you want?"
"Sir, you show an outstanding balance of over $5,000.00 dollars and your account is about to go into active litigation status."
"Really? Lady, I'm going to be REALLY well if I can make my mortgage this month. I can't give you something I don't have!"
"I'm sorry to hear that sir."

Some guy just poked his head into my cube and said: "Way to stick it to 'em, Pete."
