The Solution

Who could possibly love me?

Seems I’m alone in this mystery

Sitting here in this darkened tree

Adrift in the open sea,

It’s a beautiful world so I’m told

Just be ambitious and be bold

You’re forgetting their eyes so cold

Far too many grassy knolls,

Trying to breach the iron gates

Where all political insanity awaits

Oh the undefeatable human traits

Are we all doomed to humanity’s fate?

Something affected my mood today

Is it that our chances are all washed away?

I used to think where there was a will there was a way

That all changed when you wouldn’t stay,

I’m gravitating to a dark world of despair

Makes no difference how much you care

I stumbled into Satan’s lair

Now nothing seems right or fair,

Seems like the magic of hope slipped from my hand

Now I grope through this foreign land

Time sifts away like grains of sand

Like playing on the Titanic’s band,

Love somehow transformed into an illusion

I can gauge all this by mass confusion

Can’t seem to penetrate their delusions

God please give me the solution.
