David Paulides is constantly sending out queries to sheriff’s departments, state trooper offices, and park rangers asking for details on particular disappearance cases. One thing they warn David not to do is to contact the families of the victims in person as this does not bode well for the investigator or those who have lost a loved one and feel as though they are being exploited or that they have to re-experience their loss all over again. Paulides agrees that few of these survivor family members have been amenable to cooperating with an interviewer, not many have been willing.

Even places named after Satan too prove to be challenging and mysterious regions marked by those who never return! Of course, one reason for the names is the dangerous topography that causes fatal falls or injuries much less being lost and dying of exposure, so could this be coincidental, yes, to a certain degree but when there is a consistent pattern over a long period of time? One must surely wonder.
