There’s New Political Party in British Columbia.

We are the BC Refederation Party, and we are different from all the other parties.

The BC Refederation Party was organized by concerned citizens of BC and is a party of the people, for the people, which is long over due.

People see more and more clearly that the existing political parties represent themselves and their business lobby, and the residents of BC are left out of the process.

Our party makes common sense and represents the kind of change that is needed for the majority of British Columbians.
For some time I have seen governments come into power with campaign promises, and once they are elected they do not come through. If anything they do the [a] complete opposite.

I have looked for a Party like this, for years, which would finally actually represent the majority. Millions of BC voters stopped voting because there has been no one to vote for. I have listened to many BC residents say it over and over, “There’s no one to vote for – they’re all the same”.


Now there is a difference. By electing the B.C. Refederation Party, you will finally have an informed Provincial Party that recognizes equality for all people of British Columbia, and not just a select few special interest lobby groups.

Our party will embrace a system of direct democracy. This is desperately needed in BC as the citizens of this province have been at the mercy of their elected officials and backers.


I am concerned about the way the elected officials are selling B.C. out to international corporations. B.C. residents have had little say in what happens to our public institutions and resources, and most of us are not adequately informed of what is really happening to our Province.

Those people who wish to privatize all, have established themselves in positions of power, and the good people of B.C. are left out, with no chance to influence the political process after the election.


Most people I’ve heard from don’t feel represented. This is very unfortunate, and it must be changed. The BC Refederation Party will put the power where it belongs - with the majority, and will work towards a better quality of life for all B.C. voters.

As a proud Canadian and a lifetime resident of British Columbia, I humbly commit myself to the concerns and desires of our province's citizens. I believe in our people and our province. To represent you would be a great honor, and I will make your concerns my top priority in all decisions made for our future.


The BCRefed Party has a three step plan that will change how you feel about BC politics in their first sitting as governing party.

A BC Refederation Party government will propose three fundamental political changes to dramatically improve life for all British Columbians.

BCRefed IS THE ONLY PARTY THAT WILL EMPOWER THE PEOPLE by:

The Party has concrete, detailed, and lawful plans to implement our three fundamental Principles. These principles are in our Party Constitution, and in our first three policies. This ensures that all subsequent policy will be subject to our Constitution.

A BC Refederation [BC Refed] government will;


· Policy #1 PROVINCIAL CONSTITUTION - declare the citizens of this province to be the sole source of political rights in BC, thus allowing the citizens to write a Constitution of British Columbia that will define and limit the powers they grant to government.

· Policy #2 DIRECT DEMOCRACY [DD] - implement Direct Democracy based on the successful Swiss model as a right for the citizens of British Columbia, in order that all aspects of governance in the province are subject to the will of the people.

· Policy #3 REFEDERATION - simultaneously negotiate changes in the relationship between BC and the central government. That is the concept of Refederation. We will be the first province to propose a new confederation in order to reduce the power and corruption of the Ottawa bureaucracy, and to end the usurpation of our provincial rights. We will renegotiate the existing status between governments on;

Supreme Court - The Charter of Rights - Criminal Justice system - Official bilingualism - Health Accord - Immigration - Aboriginal issues – Fisheries - National debt – Multiculturalism - International treaties - Tax policies – Armed Forces - Human Rights Commission - Unemployment Insurance.

If negotiations with the central government prove unsatisfactory, the BC Refederation Party`s Direct Democracy Act will allow British Columbians a referendum on separation.

With the BC Refederation Party in office, you will get to influence policy through direct democratic binding referendum. Imagine having a say in:

stopping log exports
ending the privatization of our resources – like Terasen Gas
, BC Hydro, Power generation [Run of the River], water rights, BC Rail, BC Ferries, the Coquihalla etc.
ending P3’s; ie. Hospitals, Olympic villages etc.
ending SPP
ending TILMA
ending NAFTA
ending the NAU
ending government secrecy! These are very important.


As your elected representative, I will bring NAFTA, NAU, SPP, and private Run of River projects into public focus. These plans need to be evaluated in public - not in secret. No more secrets!
