Walking in my sleep
Upon territory I never intended to keep
Leading to a trench that’s way too deep
Unprepared for the next technical leap,

In this realm that seems sad

Such a young and dashing lad
Of an unsuspecting Dad,
There’s a black hole in the sky
That I cannot deny
But the world has bigger fish to fry
So very little upon which we can rely,
In this dimension in front of my face
As I stare out into space
Can’t seem to find perfume and lace
Living like this seems like a disgrace,
How to leave this behind
Seems there’s no relief that I can find
Lord, would you show me some kind of sign?
This cage in which I’ve been confined.
