I might have seen you like two ships passing 

Like two love birds romancing,

In this unique atmosphere 

Upon this blue sphere,

Giving us life we hold precious and dear

Having the right not to live in fear,

Taken you to forbidden lands,

Stumbled upon shifting sands

But the soul can be missed and blinded to the purple sky,

Pushing yourself too far 

That you didn't realize how you got to this dark star,

The forbidden knowledge attained from the backseat of a car

Did it leave emotional scars?

Thought you and I could share the view

Taste the tantalizing flavor of morning dew,

But something was deeply askew
