Human nature takes its pound of flesh Those meant for each other will never mesh Just another affair that will refresh Sitting on a throne that's meaningless, Oh Father in heaven I appeal to thee There is evil here from sea to sea Seems I only appreciate what I have rarely Please give me the understanding that is key, Is there a paradise somewhere waiting for me?
