Not that i'm particularly big fan of Che, Castro or Chavez but one can't deny that they've done more for the people than most western governments has for their citizens. People might don't have 3 cars, 2 ipads and a fridge full of junk food but at least people doesn't starve, gets homeless from medical bills or gets sick of what they eat. I guess people has this illusion that freedom and happiness is only connected to buying useless crap to fill some big gap inside.
