A NEW LOOK AT U.S. and Elite Corporation on there Quest for Global Genocide
The information you read below has been banned by 95% of all news media. As you read further you will find out why. Shocking Yes, but you will see why you need to be informed. If it wasn’t for their sacrifice to get the truth out would we really know, Not really with the censored media we get on TV, Radio, and News papers.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in his government’s recent Throne Speech announced that he wants to extend Canada’s participation in the Afghan War for another two years. Many people are asking why are we in Afghanistan and for what purpose are our soldiers dying? What are the other costs to Canadians?
The cost is extremely high especially if you want to inform the public
News Media Ban and why you have not been informed
In Italy, soldiers returned home from Iraq dying of cancer, caused by DU exposure. Today, Italy proposed new legislation to censor media covering the military. The new law would bar any reporting on the health effects of depleted uranium. Anyone who breaks the law could face up to 20 years in a military prison, including civilians

Journalists Missing
http://www.cpj.org/reports/2008/02/journalists-missing.php
The following individuals have been killed because of their work as journalists. They either died in the line of duty or were deliberately targeted for assassination because of their reporting or their affiliation with a news organization
The following journalists have disappeared while doing their work. Although some of them are feared dead, no bodies have been found, and they are therefore not classified as "Killed." If a journalist disappeared after being held in government custody, CPJ (Committee to Protect Journalists) classifies him or her as "Imprisoned" as a way to hold the government accountable for the journalist's fate.
NOTE: cyber-dissident is a professional journalist or citizen journalist who posts news, information, or commentary on the internet of media that is censored by governments or regimes that do not want the public informed.
NOTE: Unconfirmed: If a journalist disappeared after being held in government custody, CPJ classifies him or her as "Imprisoned" as a way to hold the government accountable for the journalist's fate

General Trends
Every gauge of press freedom violations in 2003 stood at red alert. Although the number of physical attacks and threats has remained almost stable since last year, other press freedom violations have increased dramatically compared to 2002 and overall since 2001.
The number of journalists killed (42) is the highest since 1995 (49 journalists killed, 22 of them in Algeria). The massive military deployment and the unprecedented scale of media coverage of the war in Iraq have a lot to do with it. But a more global and particularly worrying fact emerges: covering a war is becoming more and more dangerous for journalists.
Added to the traditional dangers of war, are the unpredictable hazards of bomb attacks, the use of more sophisticated weapons - against which even the training and protection of journalists is ineffective - and belligerents who care more about winning the war of images than respecting the safety of media staff. So many factors increase the risks of war reporting. As a result of the violence of conflicts, but not only because of that, the number of journalists physically attacked and threatened has stabilized at a very high level and slightly up on 2002.
Arrests of journalists and censorship of media reached a record high in 2003. The relentless growth in violations of press freedom since 2001, is, undoubtedly linked to the fight against terrorism and to anti-terror laws adopted by some countries since the 11 September attacks. This new geo-political factor broke the downward trend registered in 1999 and 2000.
Seat of international tension and terrorist violence, the Middle East is the worst case region for press freedom this year. With the war in Iraq and the continuing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it is the Middle East that has seen the largest number of journalists killed (16) equal with Asia, which however has a far larger population.
The Arabic-language press continues to groan under the weight of repressive and sclerotic regimes (Saudi Arabia, Syria) or sham democracies (Jordan, Yemen, the Palestinian Authority), while Lebanon, for so long a haven of media freedom, is displaying an ever more worrying contempt for the rule of law. In the Maghreb and Iran, expressing an opinion or publishing a cartoon can lead to prison.
In Asia, the press is still beset by the same ills: endemic violence (in Bangladesh), large numbers of arrests (Nepal) and censorship (China and Burma). Asia remains a continent where it was outstandingly dangerous to work as a journalist in 2003 (16 killed). It is also the world’s largest prison for journalists, cyberdissidents and Internet-users.
The Conservative Government of Stephen Harper is attempting to portray the Afghan war as “a humanitarian mission” while continuing to fight against Afghans who are resisting what they see as “foreign invaders.” I wonder how Canadians would see American, Russian or Chinese soldiers who invaded our country, over threw an unpopular government, killed tens of thousands, wounded many thousands more, caused wanton destruction and massive environmental damage. Even if they claimed that they were bringing “democracy to Canada” I do not believe that most Canadians would be impressed.
Canadian soldiers are here to protect our freedoms, and help other nations in time of need.
Afghans want the fighting to end, and they support negotiations with the Taliban. The Globe and Mail said; “Despite the enmity toward the Taliban, 74 per cent [of Afghans] said they supported negotiations between the Karzai government and Taliban representatives as a way of reducing conflict. In Kandahar, support for talks jumped to 85 per cent.”
One aspect of the war that is rarely discussed is the impact of exposure of our own soldiers, not to mention the civilian population in Afghanistan and Iraq, to toxic substances.
In the first Iraq War in 1991 causalities reported killed and wounded numbered less than 800.
However, in 2001 the United States Veterans Affairs Department officially recognized 159,000 U.S. Desert Storm soldiers as being disabled and another 60,000 becoming disabled in Gulf service after the 1991 war. The 2001 report also noted that 8,000 Gulf War vets had already died.
This has increased to 1.2 million, these are staggering numbers
The numbers are staggering. These figures are from 2001 and the rates for cancers and other illnesses can only go up. They are the 220,000 causalities from the First Iraq War virtually no one talks about.
At the end of December 2001 U.S. Army reports were released that suggested one cause for Gulf War illnesses was low level exposure to sarin nerve gas. The gas was released into the air when the U.S. military improperly blew up Iraqi chemical weapons sites in 1991.
DU is basically reprocessed nuclear waste. US containment team went into smashed up tanks without radiological protective suits. Within 72 hours they were getting sick, had respiratory problems and rashes that bled. Over the years many team members died.
Dr. Rokke says they were abandoned by the US Defense Department. Rokke himself was fired from his job at Bradley Labs in 1996 after he wrote a report saying the US Army had huge liability for contamination at an US army base in Alabama. (See Pdf. file LINK).
The chief suspect again is DU, “depleted uranium.” Rokke says the name is a mistake. “There’s nothing depleted about it.” He says the dangerous “alpha proportion” actually goes up in the processing. More than 900,000 DU projectiles were fired during the first Gulf War. When the weapons hit, about half of the uranium was released as tiny particles. The radioactive particles will last for billions of years
Now another generation of U.S., Canadian and British soldiers are being sent to war by politicians, most of whom who never have been in combat, into what is a toxic waste land. These soldiers are very likely going to pay a very steep price for fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. The future health costs and law suits are going to be very expensive and the human cost in pain and suffering incalculable.
In a more recent study it is reported that more than 73,000 US Military service men have died since the First Gulf War. These figures do not include Iraqi civilian deaths estimated at more than one million in the First Iraq War and the period of sanctions and an additional 1.2 million in the current war in Iraq
The United States Department of Veteran’s Affairs, in conjunction with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in May 2007 released figures which reveal “the true cost of the War against Iraq and Afghanistan.” According to the report more Gulf War veterans have died than the number of US soldiers killed in Vietnam, and this will continue to climb.
Total number of disability US claims filed: 1,620,906. Disability Claims amongst Deployed: 407,911 Disability Claims amongst Non-Deployed Veterans: 1,212,995.
Handling with DU is more life threatening as you are exposed to it everyday, to supply troops in the toxic battle field
Soldiers, by nature, are generally not complainers. The real impact of those who are disabled from the U.S. invasions of Iraq, Afghanistan and other nations, is not fully know or is it.
Above any major war in history, the Gulf War has taken the severest toll on soldiers.”
More than 1,820 tons of radioactive nuclear waste uranium were exploded into Iraq alone in the form of armour piercing rounds and bunker busters, representing the world’s worst man made ecological disaster ever
To compare 64 kg of uranium was used in the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima. The U.S. Iraq Nuclear contamination represents more than fourteen thousand Hiroshima’s. It has been suggested that the nuclear waste the U.S. has exploded into the Middle East will continue killing for billions of years and wipe out more than a third of life on the planet.
This information is not being addressed in the North American mainstream media.
Is Stephen Harper’s Afghanistan war the kind of war that Canadians want? We need to very loudly tell our political leaders why are we fighting a war in Afghanistan?
CANADIANS DO NOT KNOW WHY, AND THAT IS DONE ON PURPOSE. OUR GOVERNMENT HAS JOINED THE BUSH AGENDA, WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL.
WE HAVE LOST OUR REPUTATION IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS. IT SEEMS THE INTERNATIONAL IMAGE IS BEING DAMAGED BY THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENTS.
WHAT IS MORE SHAMEFUL IS THE LOSS OF LIFE, NEEDLESS, AND THE TREATMENT THAT OUR SOLDIERS AND FAMILIES ARE NOT GETTING FOR THEIR HONORABLE EFFORTS.
EX-MILITARY, CANADIAN MUST HOLD THIS GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS OUR VIETNAM.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, THEIR FAMILIES FOR THEIR SACRIFICE AND THIS COUNTRY but our enemy is on our home front, not across the sea in some far off distant land.
LETS PROTECT OUR NATION BY DEMOCRACY which is in nearly gone with another secret agenda called NAU\SPP which will end Canada as we know it.
During the current Iraq War the U.S. use of radioactive DU weapons increased from 375 tons used in 1991 to 2200 tons. Geiger counter readings at sites in downtown Baghdad record radiation levels 1,000 and 2,000 times higher than background radiation.
Well, if you think about the thousands of tons of depleted uranium the US/UK have admitted using since 1991, that would be the same as releasing the radiation from at least 400,000 Nagasaki bombs into the atmosphere since 1991. Well, look at the increase in diabetes in Japan since 1991, which represents the global effect of depleted uranium pollution
Then there are the effects to consider on the unborn babies. Consider the large increase in low birth weight babies in the US since 1991, caused by the global depleted uranium pollution.
This is happening all over the world. Unlike infant mortality, these babies survive but they are at much greater risk for health problems during their lives: diabetes, learning disabilities, obesity, heart defects, and they are never really strong and healthy.
The babies may look normal on the outside, but the DNA is damaged both in the nucleus and in the mitochondria of the cell, as well as other damage we still don't understand.
The consequences of depleted uranium of global pollution is damage to the genome of the entire planet which is being degraded and destroyed slowly over time for all living things. This is a demonic plan by the city of London and Wall Street banking establishments, and the new world order, the 'globalists' who want to depopulate the world by 5,5 billion people.
They don't call London the world capital of terrorism for no reason.
Depopulation, through a continuous global covert nuclear war, has been waged against citizens, paid for by citizens through taxation, privatized, and secretly implemented by the global ruling elite.
From 62 years of depleted uranium wars alone, global public health has been devastated by large increases in death rates and chronic disease, and decreasing birth rates,
both evident in the vital statistics of many countries since 1945.
This is a global trend
This is what Henry Kissinger said about it in 1974
in the National Security Council:
Dr. Henry Kissinger proposed in his memorandum to the NSC that 'depopulation should be the highest priority of US foreign policy towards the third world.'
He cited reasons of national security, and because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries…wherever a lessening of population can increase the prospects for such stability, population policy becomes relevant to resources, supplies and to the economic interests of the US.
According to an NSC spokesman at the time, the United States shared the view of former World Bank President Robert McNamara that the 'population crisis' is a greater threat to US national security interests than 'nuclear annihilation'.
In 1975, Henry Kissinger established a policy-planning group in the US state department's office of population affairs.
By 1979 depopulation was the top priority of US national security policy, as outlined in the national security paper /global 2000/written by Rockefeller contractors Henry Kissinger, Z. Brzezinski, Gen. Alexander Haig, and Ed Muskie for President Carter.
So it is very clear that depleted uranium weaponry is being used for the purpose of depopulation in the Middle East, Central Asia, Lebanon, Yugoslavia... and these areas of course are rich in mineral resources that the Zionist Anglo-American economic empire wants to control.
The tiger economies(China, Japan, Korea and India) are another serious economic threat so another nuclear war is being carried out against them with nuclear power plants forced on them by the US/UK war crimes racketeering syndicate (who own the uranium and the nuclear power industry).
The Zionist Anglo-American banking establishment is an international permanent war economy, a war crimes racketeering syndicate, the most vicious and ruthless in the history of the world: once again, they are the greedy bankers of the Wall Street and the city of London, and let's include the British throne which will soon crown a Rothschild as king.
What parts of the world have been poisoned by the DU?
Are there more regions at risk of contamination?
All of the world has been poisoned by the DU most of it since 1991. The health statistics from around the world
The DU is globally found in the ice record in Antarctica, Hawaii, the Alps, the Himalayas, and even in the Andes of South America.
There is nowhere to hide or any way to escape the global impact coming to every corner of the earth . Even the oceans are being killed by the radiation
International law firm of Morrison and Foerster, who has filed a class action lawsuit
against the U.S. Veterans Administration for Health Care for their very sick US veterans... the medical disability rate is over 55% since 1991, when they started using depleted uranium weapons.
Our children are being turned into uranium meat as soon as they are sent to Iraq and Afghanistan. What about the poor people who live in those regions that are being exterminated through DU and other weapons of mass destruction.
The leadership in the US, the Congress, the White House, and the Pentagon have been taken over by a shadow government that shadow from Wall Street and the city of London.
Lawsuits are just more tax payer dollars being sent to the troops, the real enemy still continues their rein of murder, and suffering.
The US is bankrupt and is being carved up like a turkey by the globalists. Europe is too... the EU is just another region being dragged into slavery... like the US-Canada-Mexico, which is now undergoing unification through NAU\SPP corrupt organization.
I cannot believe this global nightmare being rolled out.
Our soldiers are just being sent to Iraq and Afghanistan and given a death sentence as soon as they arrive.
Our Canadian Forces, to protect our Country from being overtaken by the Elite, are being killed to make this global takeover easier.
As Henry Kissinger famously said after Vietnam:
"Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy".
I think in reality the US govt. has killed far more Americans, (their own citizens), than they have killed in other countries.
The CIA has cannibalized the US just like it has eaten through the economies and killed the people of many other countries.
The CIA is bringing the drugs from Afghanistan and South America into our countries.
It's a great way to fund elections and to make huge profits.
Over $850 billion a year in drug money in the US is the CIA cash-flow through the US economy. The US economy would collapse without it.
Are US soldiers receiving proper health care from the current US administration?
Of course not. They are receiving a plane ride back to the US and then they are dumped into their communities by the Pentagon and given no help, no medical care, nothing. Check the internet out because main stream media will not tell you the truth. You find their names on the internet, and they are begging for help or they want to commit suicide, their wives are sick...their children are deformed. This is a nightmare, not only over in the Middle East and Central Asia, but here as well.
If Americans had seen the aftermath in 1945 of those horrific bombs, there never would have been a nuclear weapons program in the US.
It was hidden from the public and still is. It is a brotherhood of death, the ultimate rejection of life... it is a huge lie
I have been informing the public about what they should know about radiation and its impact on public health and the environment.
Seriously, there really is no other choice.
I want the people of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and the people of the world to know that I love and respect them. Canadians, Americans, are not bad people, I am not a bad person because I am Canadian, it is our puppet government that has hijacked and stolen our country and our soul from us.
But this nightmare they are creating is not over yet, and like Iraq, it will not turn out the way they think it is going to...
Bush is not the only sociopath in power who likes to blow things up.
Other countries may retaliate...
And there are many ways to punish the Zionist Anglo-American economic empire.
Its future is fading.... You never create wealth by destroying things.
The Pentagon has bombed, occupied, tortured and contaminated Iraq. Millions of Iraqis are affected. Over one million U.S. soldiers have rotated into Iraq. Today, half of the 697,000 U.S. Gulf War troops from the 1991 war a staggering amount of 325,000 are dying of DU Poison have reported serious medical problems and a significant increase in birth defects among their newborn children.
The effects on the Iraqi population are far greater. Many other countries and U.S. communities near DU weapons plants, testing facilities, bases and arsenals have also been exposed to this radioactive material which has a half-life of 4.4 billions years
US soldiers are returning from Iraq to die of "mysterious" ailments - and the depleted uranium (DU) poisoning scandal just won't go away, despite efforts to cover it up. Protesters in New Haven spoke out last week against the U.S. military's use of DU, its effects on US troops, and cutbacks in veterans' medical benefits. The DU test costs $1,000, so the U.S. government won't test for DU poisoning.
More than 240,000 Gulf War veterans are on permanent medical disability and more than 11,000 are dead. They have been denied testing, medical care, and compensation for depleted uranium exposure and related illnesses since 1991," say reports. A U.S. government study found that 67% of post-Gulf War babies have serious birth defects or serious illnesses
This should hit your heart our Canadian troops have been exposed
NOTE: The Government of Canada is in non-compliance with the statutes and regulations of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), prohibiting the use of Canadian uranium in depleted uranium (DU) weapons. Moreover, Canada has a bilateral nuclear co-operation agreement with the US, under which uranium exports to the US may only be used for peaceful purposes, and not in weapons. This includes “control over the high enrichment of Canadian uranium and subsequent storage and use of the highly enriched uranium,” a Foreign Affairs document states. The same rules that apply to uranium apply to depleted uranium, according to the CNSC
DU weapons are considered weapons of mass destruction under international law. Thus Canada may be complicit in the US use of weapons of mass destruction in the 1991 Iraq war I, the 1998 Balkans war, the 2001 war in Afghanistan, and the 2003 Iraq war II, where the British medical journal Lancet estimates that one million civilians have died. In each of these wars, it is likely that depleted uranium in the DU weapons used by the U.S. and the UK comes from Canadian uranium exported to the US and processed in US enrichment plants into depleted uranium and subsequently manufactured into DU weapons
The US military excuse for the use of DU munitions, bombs and kinetic penetrators is that DU is heavy and easily penetrates military armour and other targets.
The covert strategic military use of DU munitions, smart bombs, and cruise missiles is radiation contamination of terrain, and low level nuclear war against enemy troops, civilian populations, and all unprotected military troops, for purposes of depopulation.
DU weapons & war crimes
After 3 years of investigation by 60 expert witnesses and jurists at a cost of $1 million raised by Japanese citizens, the International Criminal Tribunal For Afghanistan at Tokyo on March 10, 2004 found President George W. Bush guilty of the war crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes for the use of depleted uranium (DU) weapons by US forces in the 2001 war against Afghanistan.
Experts agree that a substantial portion of the depleted uranium in the DU weapons used by the US in Afghanistan came from Canadian uranium. Had the Tokyo Tribunal been diligent, it could have found Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, who resigned as Prime Minister on December 12, 2003, guilty as an accessory to genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes, for failing to enforce Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission regulations, and the Canada-US Nuclear Cooperation Agreement, both of which prohibit Canadian uranium from being used in DU weapons
Public health effects of DU weapons
The public health and environmental effects of the use of depleted uranium (DU) weapons can be considered per se violations of the war crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes under the Statute of the International Criminal Court. The demonstrated public health effects of depleted uranium (DU) weapons include: diabetes, cancer, birth defects, chronic diseases caused by neurological and neuromuscular radiation damage, mitochondrial diseases (chronic fatigue syndrome, Lou Gehrig’s, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, heart and brain disorders), global DNA damage in men’s sperm, infertility in women, learning disabilities (such as autism and dyslexia), mental illness, infant mortality and low birth weights, increase in death rates and decrease in birth rates
Stephen Harper refused to allow any Conservative MPs to appear on a June 13, 2007 North American radio special programme on the Canadian DU issue. Despite repeated conversations with Stephane Dion’s personal press attaché and attempts to reach Liberal MP and Foreign Affairs critic Ujjal Dosanjh, the Liberal Party chose not to send a representative to the Canadian DU radio programme
On the June 13, 2007 Canadian DU radio programme, Atamanenko publicly committed to question the Prime Minister in the House of Commons on why Canada was not enforcing its regulations and treaty obligations against the use of its uranium in DU weapons.
Connie Fogal, Leader of the Canadian Action Party, which passed a resolution in support of Canadian legislation outlawing DU weapons, committed to work against the use of Canadian DU in American weapons. Adriane Carr, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada likewise committed to demand enforcement of Canada’s prohibitions against use of its uranium in DU weapons.
What path is Canada taking ?
Unbeknownst to the public, the Government of Canada seems to have strayed into aiding and abetting the serious war crimes of DU-induced genocide and crimes against humanity.
By contrast, British Columbia has maintained a moratorium on uranium mining since the 1970s. There is substantial community support for a permanent ban on uranium exploration and mining in BC, as the recent Uranium-free BC Forum in Castlegar BC suggested. The detrimental impacts of uranium exploration and mining on public health and the environment is the driving force behind the ban.
Under the guise of combating climate change, the nuclear industry, led by the Bush Administration, is now promoting nuclear power plants to the tiger economies of India, China, Japan, and South Korea. Because of ionizing radiation and the nuclear waste issue, this amounts to a low level nuclear war against these populations.
NASA recently reported vast uranium deposits in Khazakhstan and Afghanistan. Khazakhstan is expected to out-produce Canada (now the world’s top producer) in uranium production within 12 years
One might rationally ask: Why not ban uranium exploration and mining in BC, and organize collectively to secure a uranium exploration and mining ban in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec? The public policy reasons for the ban on uranium exploration and mining in the rest of Canada – public heath and environment – are equally valid throughout Canada, as they are in BC.
Let’s end our Canadian uranium industry. That is a practical way to save the health of Canadians, the environment, and innocent victims worldwide.
"Depleted Uranium Weapons were Tested in Socorro, New Mexico.
The U.S Government has conducted four nuclear wars that stand out. First against its own citizens and their own military. The second against Japan in 1945, the third in Kuwait and Iraq in 1991, and the fourth from 2003 to now in Iraq and Afganistan" 78 miles south of Albuquerque, 40 tons of Depleted Uranium weapons(radioactive nuclear weapons) were tested at New Mexico Tech's Energetic Materials Research Test Center between 1972-1993. Children are 10 to 20 times more sensitive to the effects of radiation than adults. Hundreds of Iraqi children have died of leukemia and other cancers from metal toxicity and radiation from depleted uranium weapons. Because depleted uranium has a half-life of 4.5 billion years, these areas will remain radioactive for billions of years after the war is over". Billions of years, they new exactly what their objective was and what the outcome would be.
We are facing a global mass extinction of-4 billion or more people in the near future.
We are facing a global mass extinction of 4 billion people, and a war against the genetic future of all species." Leuren Moret on depelted uranium
Let's make dirty bombs, dirty missiles, and dirty bullets out of the depleted uranium, since we have lots of that, and it will permanently contaminate the air, water, soil, food, and blood in a region where we use these munitions."
The truth is that the in order to depopulate them and steal their mineral resources. It's just that simple
The decision to drop two atomic bombs was made by one man Colonel Henry Stimson - a Wall Street banker with ties to Churchill and the city of London bankers. It's always the international bankers who are engineering these horrific wars and the development of ever more horrific technologies of war.
The approximately 5000 US bunker buster bombs that Israel bombed Lebanon with, in the July 2006 attack. Dr. Chris Busby has reported evidence of not only depleted uranium in the bomb craters along the Lebanon/Israel border,
but also traces of deuterium, high levels of uranium 235, and neutron activation products that quickly decayed within 3 weeks
The US has contaminated 39 states with depleted uranium since 1945 from testing, manufacture, sales, storage and disposal of these weapons. The US is in a massive epidemic of radiation related illnesses, which is increasing every year - the US govt. nuked its own people with atomic bomb testing, nuclear power plants, and now depleted uranium
US department states they have no evidence that the dust left after a DU round has exploded can travel very far.
Canadian epidemiologist, Dr Rosalie Bertell, told that DU had been detected 42km from its source
Finally, things are satisfactory within the European Union, with the notable exception of Italy, where the conflicts of interest of Silvio Berlusconi, both prime minister and owner of a media empire, still poses a threat to pluralism of news and information.
Again let me re-address why the public is not informed Media blockage
In most central and eastern European countries, journalists have had to contend with harsh and archaic defamation laws. Despite this, the ten countries set to join the EU on 1 May 2004 have respected press freedom.
Things remain unstable in Serbia-Montenegro, where censorship was slapped on after the assassination of the Prime minister, Zoran Djindjic, and in Romania, where journalists investigating corruption or criticizing the party in power encounter growing problems.
2003, a deadly year for press freedom
The Middle East was the deadliest part of the world for journalists in 2003. Fourteen journalists and media workers were killed and about 15 injured covering the war and the period after the war in Iraq.
The US military could be blamed for the death of the journalists, but in no case did they hold any investigation worthy of the name. On the third day of the conflict two journalists working for British ITN television, French cameraman Frédéric Nérac and a Lebanese interpreter Hussain Othman, mysteriously disappeared.
In total, six journalists disappeared in 2003 (in Iraq, Russia, India, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mexico
Let’s reach our youth BEFORE they’re contaminated!
Don’t let our kids our children be killed by the US and Corporate Elite for there Billions of mass Profit
POISON DUST or Chemical WAR FARE
Three years ago, The Daily News ran a story about reservists returning from Iraq in 2004 from the same unit who were suffering from what euphemistically has been called “Gulf War Syndrome.” It turned out that they all had been exposed to radioactive dust during their tour of duty in Iraq. The short term and long term effects of this exposure are slowly emerging into public consciousness.
The military will not acknowledge the severity and the extent of the damage to our young men and women and to their offspring.
Today, half of the 697,000 U.S. Gulf War troops from the 1991 war have reported serious medical problems and a significant increase in birth defects among their newborn children.
The effects on the Iraqi population are far severe and alarming.
Many other countries and U.S. communities near DU weapons plants, testing facilities, bases and arsenals have also been exposed to this radioactive material which has a half-life of 4.4 billions years.
This issue is of particular importance to high school students who are considering joining the military after they graduate. In addition to all the obvious dangers, entering the military today puts them at risk for cancer and all the symptoms associated with radiation and heavy metal poisoning fatigue, muscle weakness, headaches, to name a few. There is now also ample scientific proven documentation that exposure to the dust causes birth defects in their children, the same birth defects that are showing up in Iraqi children and through North American children and through out the world.
Here is a story about three young men from New York who could not get answers for their mysterious ailments after their National Guard unit’s 2003 tour of duty in Iraq. A mother reveals her fears about the extent of her child’s birth defects and the growing disability of her young husband a vet.
Their journey from personal trauma, to ‘positive’ test results for uranium poisoning, to learning the truth about radioactive Depleted Uranium weapons. Their frustrations in dealing with the Veterans Administration’s silence becomes outrage as they realize that hundred’s of thousands of other GI's have the same symptoms.
Veterans, anti-war organizers, environmentalists and health care providers will find this wake-up call to today’s GIs invaluable.
Today more than 1/3 of all 1991 Gulf war vets are on VA Disability Benefits. Meanwhile U.S. use of radioactive DU weapons has increased six-fold from 1991 to Gulf War II!
Scientists expose the Pentagon Cover-Up!
Poison DUST includes a powerful indictment of past U.S. use of radioactive weapons....
The U.S. military now admits that it deliberately radiated its own soldiers, known as the “Atomic Veterans,” during the Cold War. This documentary exposes U.S. use of radioactive weapons on peoples in not only Iraq, but the Marshall Islands; Vieques, Puerto Rico; Meihyang-Ri, South Korea; and Yugoslavia.
Poison DUST mixes interviews with soldiers with experts such as Dr. Helen Caldicott, Dr. Michio Kaku, and Dr. Rosalie Bertell explaining how DU contamination spreads and how residue from exploded DU shells radiates people.
A growing global resistance is expressed by former Attorney General Ramsey Clark, scientists and activists from Vieques, Puerto Rico, by New York Daily News reporter Juan Gonzalez, Sara Flounders of the International Action Center’s DU Education Project and Major Doug Rokke - the former U.S. Army DU Project head.
Poison DUST is an important educational tool in building the movement to stop this horror
