During 1952 and 53, Norman Dodd was assigned the task of auditing our so-called Educational Trusts listed as charity organizations but suspected of laundering foreign money. As it turned out he was right. The revelations of his investigations were so shocking that his legal assistant suffered a nervous breakdown! Under the auspices of the Reece Committee these investigations yielded keys to the puzzle of Communist influence in our government and banking system!

As early as 1908, foreign influence was at work undermining the future of American society even bringing in Russian professors whose recommendations would make mathematics so difficult and contradictory that American pupils would fail! We have awarded evil and criminal minds in our history with stardom they did not deserve! John Dewey, considered to be a genius educator, actually forwarded the notion that the public classroom would be the perfect environment for the state to influence the mind of children!

Remember in 1952 Senator Joseph McCarthy would be demonized for identifying Communists in the US government, Hollywood, and other influential segments of our society, the Rosenberg’s were executed for espionage by colluding with the Soviets! When Norman Dodd unveiled his findings under the aegis of Reece Committee probes to Congress, he was shouted down and objected to over 200 times by Wayne L. Hayes whose contentious challenges disrupted the proceedings and caused further hearings to be cancelled. All because Norman Dodd’s conclusions were that these educational trusts were steering American public education into teaching socialist and Communist direction! Today we struggle with a largely misinformed and historically ignorant young adult generation who even condone assassination as a political solution!
