And i want to know why the canadian border is sealed so tight
The wind is stopped and inspected! yet the border of choice
for all illegal activity is left opened for all who wish to cross!
I guess putting walls around neighborhoods in Irag are more
importent!
pull the troops out of the niddle east and we'd have some man power
instead of umporting foriegn troop!

A friend of mine (Vietnam Vet, long since died of old age, agent orange, diabetes, etc.) had the right idea....

He wanted to place an M2 .50 cal machine gun every 500 yards of border and shoot anything that moves toward the US border as a declaration of war.

Against the Geneva Convention? See a lawyer. Effective? Most certainly!

U.S. Committed to Border Defense: For South Korea

For those of you keeping score at home, that is about 2.5 INS Agents (soldiers) per mile. South Korea has 238 American soldiers per mile to defend its borders. We get 2.5 American soldiers per mile to defend ours. But wait, there's more! Obama has just committed an additional 1200 National Guard troops to border protection. This raises the number to 2.65 soldiers per mile. If only Arizona had the the same lobbyists as South Korea!

US troops won’t be used to stop illegal immigration: State Dept.

US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.

The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.
