How could one year be so pivotal that the entire intelligence structure of the US federal government could be transformed into an international and domestic surveillance and data gathering operation with unlimited black funding just 2 years after World War II? What triggered the sudden changes that rendered the OSS into the evolution of the CIA? With it came the NDAA initiatives as well that would shape our future policies even concerning domestic terrorism and who could be defined and held indefinitely if charged with domestic terrorism?
Those actions haunt US citizens even today as the government increased its stranglehold on our freedoms. When regular hard working citizens are entrapped by design to punish them for their political beliefs and then to hold them as political prisoners is not only unthinkable but is constitutionally prohibitive. Yet, in an era where a former US President (Donald Trump) can be tried on frivolous charges in order to keep him from running for office not to mention the proven voter fraud that took place in 2020, our very own government has made gradual steps to tightening their grip around the throats of the people for reasons we are not even allowed to know about!
From denying FOIA requests to even denying wrongful death caused by federal government employees or actions f whatever agency, the boot on the neck of the people is there! With the highly suspect events of 1995 Murrah Building explosion in Oklahoma City, and the attacks of 9-11 we are surely in the dark waters of false flag conspiracies just as we now know that the J6 riots on Capitol Hill were provoked by agencies and groups working together to blame Trump supporters and even President Trump himself. All this has converged into a dirty, secretive, parallel shadow government that seems to have the final say on all crucial policies and decisions as the puppets go through the motions of acting out in the public eye.
Yet, in all this we can still trace the beginnings back to the year of 1947 when for some reason, some ignition point, something snapped like a wakeup call that shook the upper echelon of government so badly that stricter regulations, more levels of secrecy, and a tightening of Pentagon policy took drastic measure that would take shape. Could it have been the directive to prevent future surprises in foreign affairs that could trigger major wars catching the US by surprise? Could it be that protecting American interests was now more crucial than ever with the beginning of the “Cold War” and an Atomic weapons race between the US and the Soviet Union? Sure, these factors might have been the ulterior motives, but there are those that point to another completely different threat that came unforeseen in 1947.
In 1947 a strange event took place in the high desert of the Roswell, New Mexico region of the southwestern United States. Where Roswell Army Air Field and the 509th Bomb Wing were situated. The only Atomic weapons delivery unit in the world was stationed there. At that same time an array of powerful targeting radars were built by the AEC (Atomic Energy Commission) this intended early warning system would be the forerunner of NORAD, the satellite based global detection network that protects the US to this very day against incursions from space or international air space. Days before the first week of July of 1947, unidentified flying disks made their debut among US Air Force radar screen and the high command were anxious to identify, capture, or even shoot one down if possible. It seemed both Arizona and New Mexico, both sparsely populated had become areas of interest to whoever was behind the unidentified aerial disks that were causing concerns.
Kenneth Arnold’s in flight sighting of nine silvery “Flying Saucers” in the vicinity of Mount Rainier in Washington State as he was flying in his single engine plane predated the infamous Roswell crash of an alleged flying alien craft. In the words of Major Jesse Marcel who responded to a report of crash debris on the ranch of Mac Brazel, the wreckage was made of a material he had never seen or handled before. Major Marcel brought into Roswell a collection of material thin as paper but could not be cut or burned along with metal that could be folded, but would pop back into its original shape. He showed this recovered material to his wife and son, Jesse Junior before bringing it back to Walker Air Base for his superiors to examine.
Bird Colonel, Butch Blanchard, was so impressed by what he saw that he issued a news bulletin to the Roswell local radio station and newspaper that the 509th Bomb Group had recovered an alien disk that had crashed at the Brazel ranch property. This was the climax of a number of sightings though out Arizona Air Force Bases who had been tracking strange unknown aerial vessels that were perceived as possible threats which had elicited calls for dedicated squadrons of interceptor aircraft to pursue these airborne mysteries.
During World War II in response to the alarming reports of “Foo Fighters” among allied and Axis forces in the Pacific and European theaters the “interplanetary Phenomenon Group” was formed to investigate sightings reported by US military personnel in particular bomber and fighter pilots! General Douglas MacArthur had taken flying disks seriously enough. However, after the war was over and the Roswell Crash has been recovered this would initiate “Project Sign” then by 1949 “Project Grudge” which would then evolve into “Project Blue Book” under Director Captain Edward Ruppelt as the Roswell incident had sent shock waves through the command structure of the US Air Force along with US Naval intelligence.
Was the crash 70 miles north of Roswell Air Field 7th July 1947 the shocking wakeup call that persuaded the federal government intelligence apparatus to revamp the entire security state policy and forever alter the approach of the US government to matters of national and international surveillance? Was this the defining moment that caused enough consternation over top secret classifications and even suppression of the rights of citizens beyond the scope of the US Constitution? It would seem a pretty very potent form of persuasion if the military was convinced that an alien world had indeed violated the air space of the United States and the best efforts of present technology were helpless to stop it.
On September 23, 1947, Lieutenant General Twining signed off on the AMC response to the inquiry, the “AMC Opinion Concerning ‘Flying Discs,’” which read, in part:
