The internet gossip on this mind-blowing issue seems to indicate that Iran got something on Obama and held him to some type of ransom at the time, his time of presidency. could it be something like a bait&switch ? of osma bin laden who was believed to inside a compound on Irans territory. It would be a crushing blow after all the celebrations of his capture to suddenly find out they got a wrong guy - if this did actually happen of cause Obama might have paid Iran off with funds and favours to keep the mighty secrete going. It's the only thing that makes sense for his actions.
