In the 1970’s a number of universities conducted sociological experiments on highly condensed population conditions, and what the repercussions could be. People are hard to get to admit to their savage behavior when living under the stress of close quarters existence of the inner cities due to the high crime rates, so instead of people, rats were used as test subjects. Under these controlled conditions, rats, which are intelligent and behaviorally, much like people under certain conditions, were substituted. When you hear people calling a fellow human being a “Dirty Rat” you’re not too far off.

Under a closed environment, with narrow passages that mimicked streets in the inner cities, with tight quarters, limited resources, and frequent confrontations that occur in the decaying suburban existence, researchers attempted to accurately recreate a similar stage that would parallel human-like living conditions in the big city. What they found was astonishing as well as gruesome in its accurate depiction of human behavior under the conditions of the inner cities that have been converted into ghettos run by “Slum Lord” building owners.

In the Bible, it is said that Satan in his grand design of bringing out the worst in human nature, strived to convert human existence in rural settings into the compressed conditions of high density living in big cities. In America, during the 1930’s and the Great Depression, Americans existed in a ratio of 80% rural residents to 20% city dwellers who suffered the most as those in large metropolitan areas were dependent on sources of employment that were susceptible to the economic peril of that period. They were the ones standing in bread lines as farmers and ranchers in the countryside were much more self-sufficient and in touch the land and God’s creation, thus living in relative equilibrium.

So, what did rats behave like that was so similar to what we know as the evils of inner cities conflicts and high liability existence? In short order, the rats established gangs! Those who did not participate in these gangs were either attacked, raped, or killed and eaten! The gangs all established territories and robbed from rats that attempted to create their own nests. Soon food sources that could have been sufficient had there been order and self-control, became scarce, and the resulting shortages created even more violence and bloodshed among the competing rat populations! Sound familiar? Do we not see this kind of behavior among the intolerant rioters and protesters of today? We humans are not nearly as sophisticated as we think! Looting, daytime rapes in public, little young girls raped and murdered by marauding illegal aliens, drug gangs, human traffickers preying upon the innocent? The very cream of human nature staining our city streets with blood.
