Who really Cares?

Resisting the urge to flee

Elevated to the height of the limb on a tree

Scanning the view from sea to shining sea

However they will steal your liberty,

The flutter of a sacred hymn

Will sanity return, chances are slim?

The insults of the fools you take on the chin

What kind of warped world do we live in?

With justice that is now overturned

The sense of patriotism that’s been burned

People want everything they haven’t earned

The truth is a like a lover spurned,

Another crazy on a shooting spree

While the devout pray on bended knee

With a corrupt government you can’t agree

Lying to myself isn’t my cup of tea,

Artificial intelligence will fill your brain

Only amplifying the human stain

Can you withstand the constant strain?

Is the concept of liberty all in vain?

There’s nowhere to go nowhere to hide

Why can’t you understand your leaders lied?

What will it take to stem the tide?

Not about truth it’s all about pride,

Insanity like a virus that’s everywhere

No worries slaves get your fair share

Facts are more than the fools can bare

Of the charlatans and jesters who really cares?
