There is nothing more fascinating and chilling then to conceive of the Battle of Armageddon, the end times confrontation of the nation of Israel and all God’s enemies. When Satan’s armies rise up in unison and attempt to wipe the Jewish Nation from the face of the earth, but according to Biblical prophecy something terrible happens that is, as described in the prophecy, as being a savage justice of uncanny proportion.

Lines being drawn

Gog and Magog, the armies of Satan could easily be interpreted as Russia, China, Iran, and the terrorist organizations such as HAMAS, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other nations as well. We know the Saudis, Qatar, and Lebanon all share a desire to annihilate the Jewish State. In prophecy, they all converge upon Israel with seemingly invincible might only to be destroyed in horrible fashion by Jesus who stomps on the ground with fire in his eyes and begins his confrontation with the forces of evil. The ground quakes beneath his feet.

Eye for an Eye

With the current conflict with terrorist forces feeling the wrath of Israeli retaliation for missile attacks and the slaughter of innocent civilians at the hands of the terrorists while the targeted leaders of the anti-Israeli factions (3) have been killed by the IDF, Iran launches more missile attacks against the Jewish State, but where do Russia (the nation of the Bear) China (the nation of the Dragon) fit into to the picture? What brings them into the conflict?

Bloody stage being set

Just a couple days ago Israel hit back against terrorist targets and struck a Russian controlled airport along with a Russian warship anchored offshore in Syria. China and North Korea have been supplying the terrorists with weapons, and the evidence of these munitions has been made public. Russian Premier, Vladimir Putin, has made it clear that anyone striking Russian targets whether it be NATO, the US, or any other western ally, there would be retaliation, perhaps even nuclear. Consider that the war with Ukraine has been going badly for the Russians and many people there are mad at Putin for waging a bloody and costly war with the border nation.

The wrath of God

Descriptions of the casualties in the Battle of Armageddon are horrific. Men burned into skeletons as they stand. Waist high blood flooding the desolate landscape from the soldiers who have been slaughtered, sounds like the equivalent of nuclear weaponry, but wait, the Bible says that hail stones shall befall the hapless armies of Satan destroying all who attack along with their equipment. We all know just how incredibly destructive hail can be, but how about huge hail stones materialized by the super natural capabilities of God? It would be even more devastating a country that borders on Russia and shares Russian citizens on both sides of the border. With the war going badly, would Putin want to deflect blame and humiliation by choosing another villain to pick on? That would be Israel because of the attacks on Russian assets in Syria. are food for thought.

Where, in all this is, America

This is the part that tickles my curiosity even more. I’ve always wondered why the nation of the Eagle (United States) is not mentioned in the Biblical prophecy of the Battle of Armageddon. Well, just think of it. With President Joe Biden in practically a vegetative state, and an unelected Kamala Harris actively campaigning, if you want to call it that, when in actuality she is running from the press and any interviews, who is really running the country? Nobody here to lead as Commander in Chief, right? So, that would seem to knock the US out of direct military deployment into the Battle of the End Times. Especially with the country wracked by natural disaster! This would account for the absence of the US in this pivotal battle of good and evil. This is what I can decipher about this potential upheaval in world affairs with all of the strife that is afoot. That President Trump has vowed to keep the US out of foreign entanglement much as President George Washington intimated, and the Christian influence that has endowed Donald Trump with a seeming aura of invincibility, it would make sense that the US would stay out of the conflict!
