In the District of Colunbia, Women Represent 53% of the Total Population. As the leading group, we find that they are the most victimized in rape/sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated or simple assault. Would not the ability to defend oneself increase victor-hood and decrease victim-hood. Yes, however, even the female Democrat mayoral candidate Muriel Bowser is opposed to women defending themselves. At least, defending oneself with a firearm.  The same people that want both equal opportunity and equal outcomes raise great concern that the poor mother of five, traveling across town, late at night, and walking upon darkened streets in the most crime ridden neighborhoods, may wish to protect herself against a 6 foot 6 inch 300 pound man desiring to have his way with her merely because he has the means to intimidate and force himself upon her. Its okay to put a fence, Secret Service and Marines around Michelle Obama but, to give a woman of great need the profound privilege to even the score against a larger, stronger predator is sacrilege!

Its time now for Women in DC and across America to stand against the proponents of gun control.  They are not controlling the criminals but they do control whether you open the front door to meet your five kids or whether your kids look over you peering towards the heavens from a hospital bed.  Firearms are not just for hunters of Rural America but for the prey of Urban America.
