To change your background.
On your home page click "themes" on the left side .

My page is using one of the pre made ones. I added a pic to the background. Plus I had to change the font color so you can see it with the pic I used . Its trial an error basically. Ley me know if you get stuck.

Hmmmm, well I tried to code myself and there is something wrong with it so the link and instructions you added will have to do.

Okay, here's a step by step. This is the icon you need to press to get the embed code.

,... but it is gray/inactive until you start the video playing. Then (and this is very retarded of CNN) a semi-transparent menu is going to cover the embed icon. If you press the upper left tab link (It says Similar Video or something like that) it will shrink the menu so you can get to the embed icon while it is active.

Once you click the embed icon while active it will give you the code like this.

Copy this code and paste it into your blog post to embed the video.

This is how all video is embedded basically but different web sites and such put it in different places. The point is look for something that says embed to get the code. It may be in video controls, or outside the bounds of the video but relatively nearby on the web page. Some people do not want their stuff embedded and will not offer an embed code so sometimes you just won't find it. With CNN it's there but just really annoyingly inconvenient to get at.

If the video offers an embed code you just copy the code and paste it into the blog. Otherwise a link to the original article would work as well.
