State rights were lost when the South was defeated. The Federal Government will do the same thing it did to the South when they suceeded! They will use force to keep us in a Union that no longer represents the American people! I'm glad I'm in Texas, but I doubt the powers to be will ever let this happen! According to the U.S. Constitution we still have the right to suceed from the Union, but that's only on paper as our elected Officials blatently ignore the supreme law of the land!

very interesting saying they (the federal government ) would not want to give up there authority, its so backwards to me considering we the people are the ones who gave them authoritative powers but they have most definitely forgotten how limited it was ~the lunatics are running the asylum indeed ~ but very interesting non the less .. i can't believe my state in one of them ~ the Saprano state is one of the worst ~will be interesting to see if this unfolds into something good
