They have the same quandary as we do. Back to work, or the economy crashes, and everyone starves. The Great Depression killed 7,000,000 people, and the population was only 121.8 million. It's 331,000,000 now. Back then, most everyone knew how to hunt, fish and garden. Nowadays, the vast majority do not, and there is no place locally for most of them to do any of these things. They started a large garden for local people in LA County a few years ago, and the govt shut it down.
