The following presentation on AFRICOM and NORTHCOM was made by Chioma Oruh at African Liberation Day (ALD) 2009 held in Washington, D.C. on May 23-24, 2009; which was held simultaneously with an ALD Conference in Manchester, England both as conferences to consolidate regional committees of the African Socialist International (ASI) in North America and Europe. At this conference Chioma Oruh was made Chairwoman of the African Socialist International North America Regional Organizing Committee. This presentation covered the imperialist counterinsurgency operations AFRICOM (Africa Command) and NORTHCOM (Northern Command) in anticipation of the growing struggle of Africans to overturn the parasitic relationship imposed on Africa and her dispersed people by the U.S. and Europe.
